Kissing the Dr (Healing Love) - Page 32

“Megs.” His hands tightened at my hips and he slowly slid me down the length of his cock until he was buried so deep that I knew it was impossible to do anything other than be in this moment, to live in this moment. Casey was everything in that moment, the sun and moon, the earth and the stars, the giver and receiver of pleasure.

Our bodies fused together, and I was lost to the feelings that rose up within me, feelings I couldn’t quite explain even as I reveled in them. They were foreign yet familiar and instead of questioning them, I met his blue stare and matched it in heat. I leaned into the feeling and let it engulf me.

“Casey. Thank you.”

Surprise and confusion crossed his handsome face and I just smiled and let my hips do the talking. I wasn’t sure if I loved him, but I was pretty sure that I could. It was too soon to say such words, so I fused our lips together once again and let my body tell him what my mouth couldn’t.

We made love on the sofa for what felt like hours. An eternity passed as I shook and convulsed at the way Casey filled me up, moved within me. The way he just knew how to work every ounce of pleasure from my body, and do it with a smile on his face, touched me down to my core. It made me want to please him and I rolled my hips, bounced and clenched until an ecstasy-filled roar bounced off the walls and sent shivers through me.

“Love you, Megs. So fucking much.”

I wanted to say it back, but I couldn’t. I kissed him until we started all over again and fell asleep on the sofa, bodies entangled in a beautiful mess of limbs.

Casey

She remembered. That was the first thought that crossed my mind when I opened my eyes, arms wrapped around my naked wife, in the bedroom we shared. She remembered us.

Specifically, our wedding day.

Megan was starting to remember, and that was the start of us finding each other once again. It was the best anniversary I could have imagined, even better than her taking the initiative to seduce me, to please me.

To love me.

What could possibly top that?

I wasn’t sure but, not one to tempt fate, I opted for a hot shower first so I could get my thoughts together. Maybe the memory was caused by overwhelming emotions—which could certainly be the case with our anniversary—the hot sex and the weight of expectation Megan put on her delicate shoulders. It was a lot for any person, but my brave wife was determined to take it all on like a champ.

I loved her for it, but I worried her tenacity might surpass her good judgment.

Honestly, I was afraid the return of memories was a fluke. That it wouldn’t last. I was terrified I might never get my wife back. That was a thought I couldn’t let take hold, so I finished my shower, tossed on a pair of boxers and went to see where Megan had gotten off to since she was no longer in bed.

I found her in the kitchen, coffee pot burping and hissing as it brewed because my stubborn wife refused to update the damn thing. She wore nothing but a T-shirt, a fact that became obvious when she reached up for coffee mugs, and I groaned.

Megan whirled toward me with a wide smile. “Good morning, sleepyhead.”

The look on her face, as if she was genuinely happy to see me, lit a fire under my feet and sent me practically barreling toward her. I wrapped her in my arms and smiled down at her. “Good morning, wife.”

Her plump lips, bare and moist, were too tempting to resist, and I took her mouth in a slow kiss that was hot enough to cook the breakfast she’d already gotten started.

Megan pulled back with a sigh and a smile. “If I burn the eggs, I’ll still make you eat them.”

My head fell forward until our foreheads touched and a bark of laugher escaped. “Kiss me like that again and I’ll eat burned eggs every morning until I lose my teeth.”

“Or your sense of taste,” she shot back and turned to the stove. “Sleep well?”

“Amazing, and I’m sure it had a lot to do with the sexy woman who seduced me last night on the sofa.”

She sucked in a breath and looked back at me with heat in her green eyes and a shaky hand holding a plate of scrambled eggs. “That was pretty fucking hot, wasn’t it? I dreamed about it, about all the things I would do the next time.”

Shit, who was this incredibly hot, wide-open woman who looked exactly like my wife? “Next time is whenever you want it to be, Megs.”
