Letting me top him had opened up so many new possibilities. I playfully pushed him onto his back, then slid into him and fucked his ass before pulling out and straddling his hips. He moaned as I lowered myself onto his cock, and I rode him hard while he grasped my hips and thrust up into me.

Every few minutes, we changed positions. He fucked me on my back before rolling onto his knees, and I knelt behind him and pounded his ass. Then we switched again.

I’d never experienced anything like this. It was the perfect balance of give and take, all about making ourselves and each other feel wonderful. There were no expectations, just two people being totally free in the moment. To me, it was absolutely beautiful.

Micah rolled us over, climbed on top of me, and fucked me hard as his orgasm slammed into him. I ran my hands down his back and felt his body shudder as he pushed into me, filling me with his cock and his cum. The moment his orgasm ebbed, he rolled us over again, and I slid my cock back into his ass and fucked him hard and fast. Just a few moments later, I threw my head back and yelled as I came in him.

I dropped down onto his chest, gasping for air, and Micah pulled the blanket over both of us. My cock was still deep in him, and given the way he cupped my ass with both hands and held me in place, it was clear he wanted it to remain there as long as possible.

He kissed my forehead and murmured, “In case I don’t say it enough, I think you’re wonderful, Jasper, and I’m grateful for every minute we have together.”

“I feel the same way about you.”

I’d been trying to hold still, but my cock slipped from his ass anyway, and he murmured, “Aw.”

Something was on his mind, so I closed my eyes and relaxed on top of him while he figured out what he wanted to say. Finally, he asked, “Are you sure you’re okay with topping me? I’m just asking because you seem to really love it when you’re dominated during sex, and the last two times we haven’t done that. I’d feel awful if this made you uncomfortable.”

Without opening my eyes, I murmured, “Did I seem uncomfortable when I was fucking you?”

“No.”

“I don’t just like one thing, Micah.” I grinned and added, “Here’s an awkward cake metaphor for you. Just because chocolate cake is my favorite doesn’t mean I won’t enjoy the hell out of a delicious slice of lemon cake when it’s offered to me.”

He chuckled softly. “Okay.”

“If I had to break it down, I’d say I’m about ninety percent bottom and ten percent top. I do absolutely love it when you top me, especially when you hold me down. But it’s been wonderful to give that other ten percent of me a chance to come out and play, so to speak.”

“That’s good to know. I’d say I’m exactly the opposite, ninety percent top, so that works out well.” I nodded and settled in comfortably, and after a moment he asked, “Is chocolate cake really your favorite?”

“If I say yes, you’re going to bake one for me, aren’t you?”

“Absolutely.”

I grinned and told him, “It is. And thank you.”

I met Ash for breakfast as usual the next morning, but this time I went to his house. He and Wes had painted the exterior a pretty shade of pale lavender with white trim and had been furniture shopping and decorating over the last few weeks.

Every time I went over, there was something new to see. This time, it was an adorable black and white kitten with spiky fur. I squealed as soon as I walked in the door. Then I traded Ash the bag of bagels I was carrying for the kitten and exclaimed, “Oh my god, he’s the cutest thing ever!”

“I know. Wes and I saw him on the animal shelter’s Facebook page and just knew he was meant to be a part of our family.”

When I held him up, I noticed his markings made it look like he had a thick, black mustache. “I bet I can guess what you named him,” I said.

“Let’s hear it.”

“Freddie Mercury.”

Ash burst out laughing and exclaimed, “Yes!”

“I knew it. That’s the perfect name for him.”

“Right? It was the only logical choice.”

I followed him to the kitchen while cuddling the purring kitten against my chest. There was a big bouquet of flowers on the table, and the glass-fronted white cabinets were filled with dishes in a rainbow of colors, so the room looked bright and festive.

I kissed the top of the kitten’s head before turning him loose, and as Ash poured us two cups of coffee I took a seat at the table. Then I said, “Your life is perfect. You know that, right? It was already great, and now the kitten is the cherry on top.”
