“Burger or hotdog, Rafferty?” Evan asked, breaking my reverie.

“Um, I think we’re gonna go,” I choked.

“There’s no need. Jonesie’s cool.” Evan furrowed his impressive brow and glared at the bigger man. “Aren’t you?”

Jonesie stuffed his hands into his pockets and nodded profusely. “Of course.”

I held his gaze for a long moment. Jonesie seemed sincere, but he was also in some state of shock. He couldn’t stop staring and fidgeting. Processing my gayness was more than he’d bargained for at a friendly backyard barbeque. I almost felt sorry for the guy. But I didn’t want to hang around to discuss it with him either. I inclined my head in acknowledgment, then thanked Evan before turning back to my teammate.

“See you Monday.”

I tried to act as casual as possible as we said our good-byes. I felt like I was on the field, setting up a play while I sized up our biggest threat. Obviously, Jonesie was the threat, but in a strange twist, I trusted him. He’d done battle for me for years as a defensive guard and now on offense. He was the last guy between me and our opponent, and he’d never let me down. I didn’t think he would now either.

Rory knew me well already. He sensed my anxiety, but he didn’t push me to talk about it. He put some eighties music on in his truck and sang to me all the way back to his place. He held my hand as he led me to his room. And he made love to me. Every part of me. He sucked my cock until I was about to explode. Then he entered me slowly, moving with a sweetness that made me weak in the knees. He took me over completely, encouraging me to open up and let him in.

I hitched my legs over his shoulders and clutched his ass, begging for more. He rolled his hips seductively and picked up the pace.

“You like that, baby?”

“Oh fuck, yes. Harder,” I groaned.

Rory delivered. He yanked my hands above my head and thrust inside me over and over. The rhythmic thump of bedsprings and the sound of our bodies colliding permeated the air. I was on the verge of orgasm. My cock was painfully hard already. One or two strokes would be enough to send me over the edge. But I couldn’t slip my hand between us to stroke myself without messing with his tempo. When he sensed what I was trying to do, he went still and then pulled away and lay on his back.

“Get on top of me.”

I scrambled to obey him. I straddled his torso and lowered myself onto his thick cock. I braced both hands on his chest and met his gaze. Then I rocked forward and backward to test the new position.

“This is good. I love the way you feel inside me.” I grunted when Rory arched his back and grabbed my dick. I sighed happily, tugging gently at his nipple bars until he made a whimpering noise that made me feel like a fucking god.

“Get movin’. I’m seconds away from coming in your ass.”

“Oh God, that’s hot. I want that. No condoms. I want to feel your cum. I want you to feel mine too. Will you let me fuck you?”

“Fuck, I’m gonna come,” Rory growled. He pumped his hips upward and slapped my ass hard with his left hand while stroking me with his right.

The combination of his hands, his dick, and the dirty talk was sensory overload. I fell apart seconds later. Rory pulled me over him, then rolled over so he was back on top. He drove inside me over and over until we both stopped shaking.

It took a while to come back to earth. Personally, I was content to live in the clouds for as long as possible. Real life had a way of killing the fun. Rory obviously felt the same way. He set his finger over his mouth and led me to the bathroom. We washed each other, then dried off, hurried back to bed, and lay quietly entwined under the covers until an insistent meow broke the silence.

“Buttons must be hungry,” I murmured.

“Mmm. I’ll feed her and bring us a snack too. Stay here.” Rory kissed my forehead and padded into the living area.

I grinned at the melodic tone he used to talk to his cat. “How’s my pretty girl? Are you hungry? What kind of cat delicacies are we serving up tonight?”

His syrupy inquiries were met with meows. It was part of his daily routine. He talked to her constantly, and I had to admit the sweetness melted me every time. He rolled his eyes at my sappy smile when he returned to the room holding two bags of chips.

“I’m starving. I’ll make stir fry or something in a bit, but these will do for now. Which ones do you want, the blue Hawaiian chips or the Lay’s original?”
