Rules of Play (The Script Club 2) - Page 35

My friends and I were not. We were aerospace engineering grad students with a penchant for order and privacy. When we were choosing our rooms last summer before moving day, I’d put my name on this one early.

It wasn’t a hard sell. The space had decent square footage, but it didn’t get much natural light. That was okay by me. I liked that it was hidden away like a secret oasis. I’d decorated in shades of black with rainbow accents everywhere. Kind of like my childhood bedroom across town.

Vintage movie posters from the 1930s hung on the gray walls alongside a Pride flag and a giant peace sign made of Legos. Plush hot-pink pillows were strewn across the black-and-white duvet. I tossed a few on the floor, aware of Aiden moving behind me.

He cast a curious gaze around my room. I doubted he could see clearly. I’d turned on the library-style lamp beside my queen-sized bed when I first got home. It was great for reading, not so much for seeing what you were doing. Sure enough, he tripped on my Doc Martens and went flying toward the mattress…taking me with him.

I landed on top of him with one knee wedged between his open legs. I didn’t move. Something about being draped over Aiden’s big body, my thigh hooked over his, put my libido into insta-overdrive.

My pulse had been erratic all damn night, as if my heart were doing cartwheels and somersaults in my chest. It almost made sense ’cause tonight felt like a date. It wasn’t supposed to, but it did.

I’d sat next to Aiden, wrapped in a plaid shirt that smelled like him, eating hot dogs and sipping lemonade. We’d been like a couple of teenagers, clandestinely checking each other out while pretending to be interested in whatever was going on around us. It felt so good to be with him, completely at ease, discussing whatever weird things came to mind.

And now he was here, looking at me like I was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen. Me. He had it wrong. He was the sexy one.

I studied his features…his full lips, his neat beard, flushed cheeks, and pretty blue eyes. I opened my mouth to say fuck knows what just as he rolled on top of me, switching positions in a flash before crashing his mouth over mine.

The sweet press of his lips set off a firestorm of need. My skin tingled, my heart raced, and yeah, my jeans practically cut off my circulation. My cock felt like an iron bar behind my zipper.

Aiden pulled away slightly and licked the seam of my lips in a wordless request for entry, driving his tongue inside again and again. I angled my head to deepen the connection, loving his hungry groan of approval. We made out with hungry thrusts, licking and sucking. And when he finally lowered his hips and rocked experimentally, I knew it wouldn’t take much for me to explode.

I broke the kiss with a gasp. “Aiden…”

He kissed my forehead and my nose, then ghosted his lips over mine. “Fuck, I want you.”

Aiden took over with confidence. His hands were everywhere…caressing my jaw, my neck, roaming over my chest and landing on my hip. He didn’t hold anything back. And neither did I.

I sucked on his tongue greedily, tugging his T-shirt from his jeans, splaying my hand on his bare skin as I lifted my hips in a shameless quest for friction. It was so good, but there were too many layers of clothing between us.

Aiden must have been in agreement. He sat up quickly, yanked his T-shirt over his head, and tossed it to the floor. I kicked off my shoes, stripped to my boxer briefs, and folded the duvet to the end of the mattress while Aiden removed his boots. I propped my head on my pillow and let my hand drift to my cock, gripping my length through the cotton barrier as I watched him.

Damn, he was beautiful. He looked like a warrior: big and strong with a broad, inked chest and muscular biceps. A colorful tattoo of a falcon spread across his left pec, the wings dipping to the trail of fur leading south. I practically salivated at the sight of him standing beside my bed with a hand on his belt buckle.

“Take them off,” I commanded in a husky tone. “Please.”

He obeyed. I didn’t think he meant to put on a show for me, but it was a good one nonetheless. He unbuttoned, unzipped, then hooked his thumbs under his jeans, and shoved them down his long legs. Along with his boxer briefs. His cock sprang free, jutting proudly in front of him like a flagpole.

Aiden lifted his brow in amusement as he kicked his jeans. “Your turn.”

Fact. I had no shame when it came to any aspect of sexuality. Nudity didn’t faze me at all. I might be a space nerd, a book geek, and a weirdo with a thing for the supernatural, but I also loved sex. And I was good at it.
