Out on the Ice (Out in College 5)

“What’s your crazy like?” I asked, narrowing my eyes comically as I pulled open another drawer and grabbed a pair of shorts.
“It ranges from spooky quiet to batshit bonkers. You?”
“Just your garden-variety batshit bonkers,” I sighed.
Sky chuckled as he offered his hand. “This should be fun, then.”
“Yeah.”
I wrapped my fingers around his and squeezed. Hard.
“Ow.”
“It’ll be more fun if we eat. C’mon, I’m fucking starving. Let’s find food,” I called as I headed toward the kitchen. “Clothing optional.”
We ate salad, drank beer, and talked while we waited for the frozen pizza to cook. By unspoken agreement, we steered clear of “sex” topics and stuck to “get to know you” ones ranging from music festivals to movies we’d seen recently. When a friendly debate about which version of The Joker was best got heated, I stuck my tongue down his throat to prove I was right. Next thing I knew, I was backed up against the island with my shorts and boxer briefs around my ankles while Sky sucked me dry.
We showered together, then lay on my bed, watching old Batman movies on my PC with our feet entwined. I could have suggested watching it on the big flat-screen TV in the living room, but I wanted an excuse to be close to him. I liked the way he felt against me and the way my soap and shampoo smelled on his skin and in his hair. I liked the hum of his voice and the sound of his laughter. He was intoxicating. And I was drunk on him. Maybe it was the newness of the experience. Hell, maybe I’d be over it in the morning. Somehow, I doubted that. I had a feeling that whatever we’d started had just begun.

Two weeks later, I didn’t want this phase to end. Which was crazy, because it wasn’t convenient at all. I had more demands on my time than ever. Between classes, hockey practices, and work, I was swamped. My original “last day” at the office was weeks ago. Sure, I told Harry I could come in to help out once in a while after hockey season began, but I wanted the extra excuse to see Sky. I was hooked.
It was all pretty innocent. We’d close the door and make out in Bailey’s office or feel each other up in the copy room. Although he blew me in the men’s restroom, which wasn’t so innocent. It was hot as fuck. Just the memory of Sky on his knees bobbing on my dick made me hard. The risk and reward quotient was exciting. The thing was, I liked Sky a little more every day.
I sensed that he was extra cautious with me sometimes, like he was sensitive not to ask for too much. The funny thing was that I wanted so much more than I could say. I loved how simple conversations with him always seemed to evolve into make-out sessions with varying degrees of heat. One minute we could be debating whether milk chocolate was better than dark—and yes, I assured him it was—the next thing I knew, I was against the wall, and he was all over me. Fingers in my hair, raking my back, then grabbing my ass.
It was easier than I thought it would be to find time to be together outside of the office. Our work associates knew we were friends, so they didn’t think twice about us coming in together or leaving at the same time. I’d gone out of my way to learn Elliot’s new class schedule. Between his two o’clock gender studies class and his late afternoon practice, we had at least an hour to fool around before Sky had to get back to the office or I had to get to the rink. We didn’t waste a minute.
We would rush to my room, lock the door, and undress as fast as possible. We dove for my bed and came together with feverish kisses and roving hands. I loved kissing him, touching him, and just holding him. We stuck to blowjobs, hand jobs, and naked grinding sessions. But every once in a while, he’d push my finger toward his hole like a gentle reminder that there was so much more we could be doing. And yeah, I wanted that too.
Sometimes, I felt as though we gave each other something we didn’t get in our regular lives. Like we could drop our guards and not have to be so damn…tough. I could let him tease me without feeling like I needed to defend myself, and he could lean on me and let me put my arm around him and just…be.
Sky was easy company and seemed happy to go with the flow. For example, I had an hour between my criminal justice class and a team dinner. We had a quiz in class, so I couldn’t bail early, and I couldn’t be late for dinner. I suggested meeting for a drink, but Sky had a better idea.
