ine’s children held with such care, and with her father’s arm to hold on to, she thought back to the first wedding she’d attended in this great baroque building. Looking back, that was the day she had given her heart to Dante, and now here they were, four months later, about to exchange their own vows.

Dante had proposed to her on Finn’s birthday. She hadn’t had a moment’s hesitation in saying yes. The beautiful rose-gold pear-diamond ring had been worn on her finger ever since. She would never remove it again.

He’d moved just as fast in getting her pregnant. Two days after she’d completed her degree, Aislin had taken the pregnancy test. Dante had squeezed her so tightly she’d almost choked.

The man who hadn’t wanted anything to do with family had now decided he quite fancied having a football team of children.

Aislin thought a netball team might be more manageable.

Modern technology and having Dante’s private jet on tap meant they could be as involved in each other’s lives as they’d always been. The round-the-clock care Dante had arranged for Finn meant Aislin could sleep knowing her beloved sister and nephew were both as well as they could be.

Aislin missed their daily presence but with Dante she had found something else—a piece of her soul.

He completed her. And, when she walked down the long aisle and saw the love reflecting in his eyes, she knew she completed him too.

Together they were the perfect fit.

Together they’d created their own heaven.
