He walked into the house, and there was snow clinging in his short hair.

"Smells good."

"You don't get any of this until you pay up."

"Pay up? What, how much does dinner cost?"

"A kiss, please. Pay up."

He grinned at me, and he leaned down to kiss me lightly.

I closed my eyes, and then I shook my head. "Hmm, I don't think that was adequate payment. I think that the new price of dinner is two kisses."

"What a greedy, greedy lady you are." He bent and kissed me thoroughly this time. "Is that enough?"

I smiled up at him. "It is now, yes. Wash your hands. I'll take this off of the stove, and we can eat."

We knew the drill at this point. We got the plates together, and I put his big one on his plate and my smaller one on mine.

With the first bite, he let out a groan that sounded like what he sounded like during orgasms. "Oh my gosh!" He swallowed. "This is the best thing I've ever tasted in my life."

"Yeah?" Even if he was lying to make me happy, it still made me happy and glowing inside.

"Yeah." He kissed my cheek. "Thank you for making dinner."

"It's the least I could do." I smiled at him. "You've cooked so many meals for me. I am warning you now, though, this is the only thing that I really know how to make. One of our housekeepers when I was really young and my mom was alive taught my mom and I to make it. She came in at 9, and my dad normally ate breakfast around 6 or 7 before he went into the office. So my mom wanted to be able to make something a little bit better than standard pancakes. She really loved my dad." A shadow fell over my face. I swallowed back the start of a sob. Why was I even saying this? I tried not to think about it.

"Hey. It's okay. You miss your mom."

I blinked so that my tears would not fall. "I do. I don't know. I can remember my childhood, but as time goes on, those memories start to fade. She died of cancer when I was a kid, before I hit my horrible teenage years. Andrew says that she would have stopped me from being so horribly spoiled."

"Ha, maybe not. I think that you have a pretty forceful personality all of your own."

"I get it from both sides, believe me." I didn't feel like crying anymore.

"Would you like to join me in the living room?"

"What, do you want to read together again?”

He smiled a little. "You gave me an idea earlier with that talk of champagne and Bordeaux."

Fireside

Amelia

"Okay. Let me clear the plates." I tossed them into the sink. They could wait for a little while.

Inside of the living room, the fire was roaring and at full strength. In front of the fire was a blanket. On the blanket, there was a bucket filled with ice and another bottle of wine. It was uncorked.

"This isn't what I'm used to when it comes to bottle service, but I'll take it."

"The bucket is from the barn." His face was a little red. "I hope you like it."

"I like you." My nipples were firm and poking through the other shirt of his that I had stolen. "And I think that I should thank you."

"Yeah?" His grin made the corners of his eyes crinkle. He came down on the blanket, too.

"Yeah." I sat on my knees, and I unbuckled his belt. His cock popped out. I touched it with my mouth softly. He began filling up, getting harder, growing erect before my eyes. I took the bottle of wine and poured a little bit on his body. He sucked in a breath as I chased the little rivulets of wine around the valleys and peaks of his lower body.
