Sage knew that, together, they would heal. They would move on. Their lives would be everything they’d dreamed of and so much more.
Lochlan’s arms wrapping her in his warm embrace soothed every aching hole in her heart from all she’d lost in the past few months. The pain she suffered, the agony her mother must have felt after the police confirmed that her father had committed a mortal sin.
“I got this for you,” he said as he locked something around her wrist. “For your birthday.”
Lifting up her arm, her eyes welled with tears that she thought had dried up. It was a stunning bracelet with an angel charm that read, always my angel.
“I love you so much, Angel.”
“More than faith, Lochlan.”
It had become their turn of phrase. Something that would last a lifetime.
Just like them.

Epilogue
Love, faith, & promises. Life’s vow to you.
One year later.
Lochlan watched his family, his friends, his life, as they waited for Sage to appear. She had organized a gathering with everyone she knew. It far exceeded anyone he cared about, but if it made her happy, he’d do anything.
Over the past year, they’d had plenty of ups and downs. They spread their wings, and they fucking flew.
Sage Marlowe had disappeared with her timid ways and grew into a happier version of Sage Hogan. She enjoyed life, she enjoyed love. She embraced every crazy curve thrown her way with a smile on her face and grace on her side.
Loch couldn’t be prouder of the wife she’d become.
“You ready for this?” Nox, who sat on one side of him asked.
“She’s got a hell of a surprise.” Levi, who was sitting on the other with a smirk Loch wanted to knock off, commented.
“She’s gonna have you crying for mercy, Papi.” Asher laughed. Mac and Joey joined in from either side of his brothers.
