Gen Pop (Souls Chapel Revenants MC 6) by Lani Lynn Vale - Page 41

So it really shouldn’t have come as a surprise when I exploded in a mind-tingling orgasm.

One second I was all together, and the next I was exploding.

I felt like my entire being disintegrated, then reintegrated in such a way that Zach was permanently there, forever with me.

I’m not sure when he came.

Maybe it was right after I did.

Maybe it was a few long minutes later.

Maybe it was when the others came out on the porch and started laughing at something only they knew.

Hell, I didn’t know.

And I didn’t care.

When I finally came to, he was still above me, his chest heaving, as his cock pulsed every so often inside of me.

“I think you might’ve broken me,” I whispered to him. “I’m fairly sure that they heard me scream, too.”

“We did!” someone called.

A woman.

I wasn’t sure if it was Six, Wyett, or one of the others that I hadn’t ‘officially’ met yet.

Regardless, I was slightly embarrassed.

And I say slightly, because truly there was nothing that I could be embarrassed about when it came to what just happened with Zach.

It was not only a long time coming, but it also meant a hell of a lot more to me than some mid-level embarrassment at being caught fucking a man outside on someone else’s lawn furniture.

He chuckled at my observation, ignoring the others, as he stood up and brought me right along with him.

At first, I was impressed by his show of strength.

Then I was cursing up a storm when the IV was nearly ripped straight out of my arm.

“IV!” I cried out in surprise, my body leaning over heavily to one side so that it wasn’t ripped out even more.

“Shit,” he cursed, righting himself and grabbing the bag before apologizing. “I’m sorry.”

I grinned at him, only then realizing that I could now see him very, very well.

“They turned on more lights,” I found myself saying.

“Pool lights,” he said. “They’re swimming. We need to get you inside.”

He hurried toward the door, his cock jerking inside of me with each step that he took.

I licked my lips as a furl of desire started to unravel inside of me all over again at his movement.

That flame licked out the moment I heard the next comment out of a person’s mouth.

“You forgot your underwear,” Laric called out.

I felt my face flush.

“Come back out dressed to swim!” Six called. “If you can do the dirty, you can swim with us. We want to play some volleyball.”

She did have a point.

Two hours later, I was swimmed out and wanting a certain someone all over again.

But that might’ve had a lot to do with the yellow shorts that Zach was wearing.

Shorts that, apparently, he’d been keeping in his bag because he liked to get in workouts at the local YMCA.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something.

Those shorts were indecent.

They were the shortest pair of shorts that I’d ever seen on a straight man.

They were Ralph Lauren, hung low on his hips, and hit him about six inches below his crotch.

I didn’t think that I’d ever be able to look at him again and not want him wearing these particular shorts.

The man looked fucking great in a beat-up pair of boots, worn-out blue jeans, and a simple t-shirt.

But the man in those shorts that showed off his muscular thighs, his trim hips, his bulky shoulders, his sexy six-pack abs—that might I add weren’t all that perfect in comparison to the rest of him—would always be top tier in my book.

It hid the really good stuff, accentuated his muscles, and looked really great against his tanned skin.

“Are you even listening to me?” Swayze, also known as Trick’s wife, asked.

Amusement lilted her voice, making me reluctantly drag my gaze away from him.

“I was admiring Zach in those shorts,” I admitted. “And wondering where I could go buy him more just in case he has any other ones in his arsenal that aren’t quite so lovely.”

“Amen to that,” Six agreed. “The other guys look great and all, but those swim trunks are amazing. I think I’ll go look at Dillard’s tomorrow just to get some.”

“I’ll join you then,” Swayze admitted, “because I agree. They’re very, very nice.”

“And the man can move in them and didn’t spend a lot of time jacking with his shorts when he was playing earlier,” Wyett added her two cents.

“Speaking of playing,” Six said as she watched the men finish off their beers and then jump back into the water. “Guess they’re starting round two.”

They were, indeed, playing round two.

“You know that sand volleyball scene,” Beckham said from her lounger where she was holding her sleeping son, Hiro. “Where Maverick and Goose play volleyball, and Ice Man is all sexy as hell, too, covered in sand and looking fine?”

All of the ladies with me snorted, but it was Six who answered. “Yes. I think every straight female that was born in the last fifty years has seen that scene. And loves it.”
