Four Keeps - Page 68

“At first,” I say, “I visited each of them. I was still subleasing my salon suite, so my schedule was flexible. When I visited Caleb on the ranch, Xavier was able to come too. When I stayed with Samuel, James came for a long weekend.”

“We’re all happy with any time we can manage with Olivia, but she’s happiest when we’re all together, so we’re working toward that,” James says.

“We’re building a big house on the ranch,” Caleb says. “It will be our home base, though I still see us traveling a lot. The island that Olivia’s from is a great little place, so we have plans to buy a big house there too. We’re all going there next week, in fact.”

“Sounds like an interesting life,” Blake says.

“Maybe we’ll do six months in Texas and six months on Four Points,” I say. “Penny needs some stability in her life.”

“Penny?” Blake asks.

“Samuel’s dog,” I explain.

“Our dog,” Samuel says, giving my hand another squeeze.

“And what about your families?” Blake prompts. “Has everyone been accepting of your relationship?”

“Our families have been great,” Xavier says. “Olivia’s parents are terrific. They’ve been so welcoming.”

“Your parents too,” I say. “All of them really. We’re talking about throwing a big party next summer and trying to get all of our family and friends together.”

“Maybe, like a … wedding party?” Blake asks in a teasing tone.

“As you know, we can’t be legally married,” I say, “but yes, maybe something like that.”

Blake smirks. “Something like … a commitment ceremony?”

It takes me a moment to pick up on his meaning, but then I laugh out loud. When I was on For Keeps, I came to dread commitment ceremonies, but now it sounds like a wonderful idea.

I don’t feel the need for something official – all four men have been all in from the day we left the show, and I don’t doubt their love – but holding an event where we can celebrate that love and share our happiness with the other people in our lives would be pretty wonderful.

We talk with Blake for a little longer, but thankfully he soon informs viewers that we’re out of time, and the show wraps up.

My men and I are staying at a hotel nearby, and I’m eager to get back to our room. Whenever the five of us are together, we like to make good use of our alone time.

Epilogue II

One year after For Keeps

I wake to a breeze from the sea and the warmth of a firm body next to mine. Smiling, my eyes still closed, I draw in a breath and identify Xavier’s distinctive scent. I love that my men all have their own signature, and that I’ve learned their bodies so well I don’t need sight or sound to recognize them.

“Good morning,” I say.

“Good morning.” The big, warm hand that’s cupping one of my breasts squeezes gently. A thumb flicks my nipple, and I suck in a breath as sparks shoot through me.

It’s been one year since I met them, and I’m still not used to what the four men who’ve changed my life make me feel. I hope I never do get used to it. I don’t ever want to take them for granted, or how cherished and safe – and yes, sexy – they make me feel every day.

“Where are the others?” I ask.

“James went to get coffee, and Caleb and Sam are off on some mysterious errand.”

It probably has something to do with our commitment ceremony, which we’re having this weekend. My men are a united front when it comes to taking care of me, so I don’t try to coax any more details from Xavier.

He eases me onto my back and smiles down at me. “I’ve got you all to myself for a little while.”

“Let’s not waste time, then.” I draw his head down for a kiss. It deepens quickly, and Xavier’s hand skims over my belly to cup my pussy.

“You’re wet.” His voice has deepened. “I love how wet you get for us. For me.”

“Xavier.” I reach for him, already hungry, and find him hard and ready, heavy in my hand. “I need you inside me.”

He moves into position as I aim him at my slippery entrance, and a moment later his thick length slowly fills me. I wrap my legs around him and meet him stroke for stroke, my hips rising to take him deeper.

One of the things I love most about my men is how generous their hearts are. We’ve gotten our lives aligned in the past year, so that the five of us are together most of the time, mostly on Caleb’s ranch or here on the island. It was their idea for me to have regular date nights with each of them individually, in addition to all the time we spend as a group.
