Lio interrupted his husband but also refused to stop watching the spectacle. Sure enough Arthur approached the younger man and threw him over his shoulder. Lio held out a hand in a see? gesture. “He once bodily carried me out of a cabinet meeting after someone called you gorgeous.”
Felix finally turned to him, a pink blush sneaking up his neck to his face. “What do you mean?”
Lio looked at him and smiled that sweet, tender smile reserved only for his king consort. “It was the fourth time it had happened that day, Fee. I couldn’t take it anymore. I was…” He sighed and looked down. “Jealous, all right? I was jealous. Everyone in the world looks at you and fantasizes about you. But you’re mine.”
Felix swooned in his arms, and the room filled with aww’s and smoochy sounds as the two of them shared a sweet kiss.
Which set off a massive kissfest the likes of which neither family had ever seen before, or would ever speak of again.
