Eric laughed and kissed her nose. “Not yet, baby… But wait until you become a hybrid.”
She wanted to say something, but then he thrust harder, and all that came out of her mouth was a moan. She turned to Viggo and reached out for him, pulled at his arms and scratched his chest and shoulders until he sneaked a hand between her and Eric to cup her cheek and pull her into a wet, sloppy kiss.

Delyse opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling for minutes on end before gathering her courage to move. She knew it would hurt. She moaned as she pushed herself upright in bed and looked around the room. It was a mess. Clothes everywhere on the floor, crumpled sheets, a pillow on the desk… “How did that even get there?” she wondered. Oh, and bottles of red wine on the nightstand and at the foot of the bed. She vaguely remembered Eric declaring they needed a drink to celebrate the best decision they had ever made. Then, wine being poured down her breasts, Viggo licking the red liquid before it reached her belly… Laughter, jokes, screams… more wine. She swung her legs over the edge of the bed and her head started spinning.
“Oh Jesus!”
Her hands flew to her forehead and she massaged her temples slowly. It wasn’t exactly helping. She found her smartphone on the floor and groaned when she saw it was 1 PM. No wonder she was starving. Eric and Viggo had tried to wake her up earlier. They had shaken her shoulders, kissed her face, pinched and tickled her. Nothing had worked. She had just shooed them away and pulled the pillow over her head. Apparently, they had given up and gone about their business. Loyal dragons those two were… She was having the hangover from hell, the first one in her life.
Delyse glanced over to the bathroom door. Far. Too far. She sighed. She was considering getting back in bed and staying there forever when someone knocked on the door. She doubted Eric or Viggo would knock after what the three of them had done last night, so she was sure it was someone else.
“Who is it?”
“It’s me,” Astrid’s voice came from the corridor.
Delyse cursed under her breath. She looked at herself. Naked, the sheets entangled around her legs and waist, and the room smelled of sweat and sex even with the windows still wide open.
“Just a minute!”
She pushed herself to her feet and winced when her muscles screamed in protest. She felt worse than she would have felt after running a marathon completely untrained. She wrapped herself in the stinky sheets and fixed her gaze on the bathroom door again.
On the corridor, Astrid sighed and rolled her eyes.
“Honey, you are aware that I can smell and hear everything, right? You’re in no condition to move, much less run a bath without tripping over your own feet and bump your pretty head on the tub. I’m coming in.”
“Noooo….”
Delyse’s protest was weak and ineffective. Astrid entered the room, found her standing awkwardly in front of the bed, blonde hair so tangled and messy that it looked like the end of a witch’s broom, dark circles around her blue eyes. And she started laughing.
“Oh. My. God. You look awful!”
“Thanks,” Delyse said sarcastically.
“No, really. You look like you’ve been run over by a train. How can you even stand? I’m impressed.”
“So charming…”
“I always am.”
Astrid winked and strolled over to Delyse. She started inspecting her arms and every bare patch of skin she could reach without Delyse swatting her hands away.
“What are you doing?”
“Checking to see if you’re okay.”
“Of course I’m okay. Why wouldn’t I be? I mean, everything hurts, and I might not be able to walk properly for a while, but it’s not like… you know… I didn’t ask for it.” She smirked.
Astrid crossed her arms over her chest and smirked back. “You’re a real piece of work, did you know that? I’ve seen many things in my long life, but I never thought I would meet the woman who could tame two Drekinn dragons to the point when they would be okay to share.”
It was weird, but Astrid’s comment made Delyse feel good about herself.
“I bow to you, my lady.” Astrid made a small, pompous bow, then straightened her back quickly. “And no bruises… With your white skin and the mad screams coming from this very bedroom last night, I expected to find you turned into a goblin.”
“A goblin?”
“Yeah… green and purple with
