He faced her, settled back into bed, and ran his fingers along

her cheekbone.

“Good morning, beautiful.”

That sleepy smile grew. He was convinced there wasn’t a time the woman didn’t look perfect. Covered in oil, done up in a skirt, or first thing in the morning, she was always incredible. But first thing in the morning made his heart beat a little faster, because there, in his bed, just then, everything else was stripped away. She looked fresh and free from the weight of the world she usually carried around with her.

“Do you have anywhere to be?” she asked.

“I’m not going anywhere. I’m right where I want to be.” He looked at her. “What about you?”

She ran her foot up his calf then threw it over his hip, bringing their best parts together, and if he wasn’t certain before, he was now—she was wet, and he groaned at the feeling.

“I’m pretty close to where I want to be,” she said with a little tease in her voice as she moved her hips to position the tip of his cock at her entrance.

“This better?” he asked, then softly nipped her bottom lip and slid an inch inside.

She closed her eyes and gasped. “Getting closer.”

“Closer huh?” He slid in another inch. “Better?”

“Almost there…”

He gripped her ass and pulled her on him as he thrust deep.

“There?” he asked on a ragged breath.

She hugged him tight. “Yes, right there.”

She kissed him hard, and he was a goner. He rolled her onto her back and kept the connection by staying between her thighs. He didn’t thrust, didn’t pound, just stayed deep and stirred within her.

She locked her arms and legs around him, like she was scared he would disappear. Little did she know, not a soul on earth could take him from this moment.

He wrapped her up, mashing their bodies as close as he could. He felt every inch of her skin against his and simply stayed deep inside her sex. Flexing, moving, never leaving. Never retreating.

“What are you doing to me?” she asked on a breathy whisper.

He said the only thing he could think of. The truth. “I’m lovin’ on you.”

Her eyes looked tender and misty, like a thundercloud on the brink of rain. He kissed her, and it was then that her whole body shuddered beneath him with release. He felt every part of her pleasure like it was his own, slow and burning, because his body threw him into the same spiral of sensation.

“Huck…” she murmured. “Huck…”

All she said was his name. She kept herself wrapped around him, and Huck knew he was in trouble.

Autumn relaxed back into the couch. After staying the night, then having morning sex, she had realized that neither of them was running. They’d eaten a breakfast of cold pizza and hung out.

“You said noon,” Huck said as he grabbed hold of Autumn’s ankles, which were resting on his lap. “Which means I have you for another hour.”

She had nothing more on than a one of his T-shirts, and he was in a pair of low-slung sweats.

It was casual, simple, and the best morning she’d ever had.

“I work at noon, which means I have to go back to Jenna’s house to shower and change and get ready.”

“You could shower here.”
