With every rough thrust of her master’s cock, his seed dripped from her sex, and her wails rose. What was happening on the outside looked rough and cruel, a thorough debasement from the man closest to her in all the world. What was happening on the inside was something else. She felt his love. She knew he did not want to hurt her. She knew that this rough, carnal intrusion and his ability to inflict such sexual domination was a side of him he had hidden for as long as they had known one another. She’d flirted with it. She’d sensed it. She’d been trying to bring this out for as long as feminine desire had flowered inside her. Now she had it, and it was completing her.

Slowly, unexpectedly, the pain and the misery started to become something else. She couldn’t have said when the tide turned, but the stretching pain was suddenly more of a fullness, and then it was more than a fullness. Then it was a pleasure, something to be chased, something to be reveled in. Something that would bring her freedom with the reaching of climax.

She heard Bryn’s grunts change too. She heard a rough growl emerge from his throat, and then it was not such a hardship to have him surging inside her bowels. They were connected by flesh in a way she and the Dark could never be. He wasn’t hurting her, even if it hurt. Bryn loved her. He had always loved her. He would always love her. She felt that as a truth even as his cock ravaged her tight anal passage and made her submissive in a way she had never imagined she could be.

He slipped his arm around her waist and found her pleasure nub with his rough fingers. He strummed it, playing her like an instrument as she bent obediently, still holding her cheeks wide open to allow the smooth and easy, come-lubricated stroking of her master’s cock.

Hail’s cries penetrated the dark, her pleasure swirling and circling all through her body, making her shake and tremble. There was no way for her to contain the massive shocks and tremors of that orgasm. He had to hold her up or she would have tumbled forward into the abyss before them. The clenching of her ass triggered his own release, and she felt the heat of his seed filling her for a second time.

“There. I made her mine.”

Hail was lying at his feet again, curled up in a sleep only the truly sated could enjoy as Bryn faced the Dark for what he hoped was the final time. There had been enough sex. Enough depravity. Hail had submitted. She had given everything. The game was over.

“Is that all you think it takes? You said it yourself. Men and women perform the same acts you perform all the time for pleasure and recreation. You have not done anything to make any particular impression on her.”

“That’s not true. I was as a father to her. I rescued her. I looked after her. There was a bond of innocence between us which is forever gone. And there’s something new in its place. Something that only exists because of your twisted design, but something that has made her mine.”

“You think it is that simple.”

“It is that simple. I will take her back into the world. I will keep her close. I will teach her the ways of the good and the righteous. And you will never touch her again.”

The Dark smiled and the world shifted. They were no longer in the shadows. They were in the very center of New Rahvin. The Dark remained unseen, but Bryn and Hail were very much visible, Hail naked and suddenly shocked by shame, Bryn equally exposed.

They were spotted instantly.

“It’s her! The one who attacked the guards! Guards! To arms!”

Bryn found himself at the center of another attack. There was no time to explain. There was no way to make the villagers act sensibly, or plead with them for calm. The moment Hail appeared, they were triggered to attack, and attack they did, to a woman and a man.

“You’ll never get out of here alive!” Old Mrs Snitch at the weaving stand cried, fisting her needles.

“You made a mistake coming back here!” Elise cried. There was no recognition in her eyes. There was no knowledge or thought at all. There was nothing besides a script which had to be executed, a task to be done.

“Huh, he must have gone,” Bert the butcher said, inexplicably running repeatedly into a nearby wall.

Bryn saw and felt what it must have been like for Hail when the town she had made her home turned on her. The same town was turning again, and he was forced to defend her.

Hail screamed, helpless without the powers of the Dark. He had not only absolved her of connection with the thing. He had left her weak and exposed. She could no longer draw on the Dark’s power. She could no longer defend herself. She was certainly not immortal. If they killed her now, it would all be over forever.
