Final Play (Fake Boyfriend 6) - Page 45

I should be mad. I want to be mad.

I should care that I’m now as dirty as he is.

But like whenever Talon touches me, is near me, or hell, even looking at me, I get too lost in him to care.

Instead of fighting it, I let it happen.

I let him kiss me, let him press me up against the car, and I don’t even stop him when he pulls open the back door and pushes me down on the bench seat.

Talon blankets me with his body. His hips roll, and his hard cock rubs along mine.

I suddenly wish we weren’t in public or wearing clothes.

“We’re gonna be late to our own wedding,” I say in between kisses. “Maybe we should start walking?”

“It’s not like they can start without us.”

True. “In that case …” I reach between us and pull down his zipper, sneaking my hand inside his boxers and gripping his cock.

“This is why I’m marrying you.” Talon thrusts into my hand.

“Because I give you orgasms?”

“Nope. Because you’re so easily convinced to give me orgasms.”

“I’d totally be offended if I could dispute that, but I can’t.” I stroke him hard and fast, relishing the feel of friction on my own cock through my jeans.

Talon curses and swears like he does when he’s getting close.

“Tire grease really turns your crank, huh?” I mock.

“No.” He grunts. “It’s you. Always you.”

“Then give it to me. Come on me. We’re gonna have to shower anyway. Somewhere. Do we know if the venue has a shower?”

Talon’s hips slow. “Kinda detracting from the point here, Shane.”

“Sorry. Right. Coming. Uh, you’re coming. You need to come. On me.”

“Your dirty talk needs some work. Just shush and let me get there.”

A throat clears, and it takes a second to realize the sound isn’t coming from either of us.

We still and glance to the side of the road where an officer stands, arms folded like he’s trying to look serious, but he has a small smirk on his lips.

“If you want some privacy, might I suggest one of the great hiking trails we have here in O’Leary?”

Talon scrambles off me, pants undone, cock half hanging out.

A small chuckle escapes the cop. “Haven’t had to arrest anyone for indecent exposure for about a week. We were due for one, I guess.”

“Sorry.” Talon tucks himself away. “It’s uh, our wedding day, and umm, we should actually be there now, but uh, we got a flat, and, uh …”

I’ve never seen Talon struggle for words before, so I burst out laughing.

The officer takes off his sunglasses and glances between Talon and me as I sit up. “You’re … and you’re …”

“Yup,” we say at the same time.

He’s able to keep any celebrity-awe in check as he goes back to professional mode. “I’m Officer Sloane, but you can call me Silas. Or Si. Or ‘Hey, Police Guy’ works too. You need a hand with the flat?”

Talon and I glance at each other.

“Oh, uh, we tried—”

“He tried,” I correct. “And failed. I bet him he couldn’t do it. I was, umm, about to collect my win when you snuck up on us.”

Officer Sloane scoffs. “Snuck up? You didn’t hear my cruiser pull up, the car door close, or me approaching?”

Clearly not.

He shakes his head. “My boyfriend is going to laugh his ass off when I tell him about this.”

I begin to panic, because the last thing we need is for this to get out to the public. “Whoa, hang on …”

“No, wait—” Talon starts.

Silas waves us off. “Ev’s not going to actually believe me. What time do you need to be at the wedding? Half the town is shut down because of it.”

I check my phone. “Uh, ceremony is supposed to start in thirty minutes.”

“Curse of the Camden Road. Come on, I can take you into town and call Joe.”

I frown. “Joe?”

“Tow truck driver. It’ll be best if I don’t tell him whose car he needs to come and get though. He’ll overcharge you.”

“Because we’re rich?” Talon asks.

“No. Because you betrayed the Pats by signing with Chicago a few years back. He still hasn’t forgiven you. He’s a massive New England fan.”

Talon laughs. “How much will my betrayal set me back?”

“At least double.”

“Ooh, steep.”

“So, like I said, we won’t tell him.” He gestures for us to follow him. “Sorry the police cruiser isn’t as fancy an entry as that.”

We stare back at the bright red convertible.

“Are you kidding me? Talon will love this even more.”

Talon bounces on his feet. “Shotgun! And can we put the sirens on?”

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Chapter Twenty

TALON

Arriving with sirens? Fucking awesome.

The commotion catches everyone’s attention, and the guests all turn from their seats in the middle of perfectly manicured gardens.

The looks on their faces as we get out of the car are hilarious. Especially Damon’s. I think he might be on the brink of having a coronary until we tell him our car broke down and we are not, in fact, under arrest.
