He brushed my hair off my shoulder and kissed me lightly where his teeth had once bitten me. “I did too.”

“I’ve never let someone do that before. I didn’t know I’d like it.” I drew a circle over his heart. I could feel the erratic rhythm over the heat of his skin.

“But you did?”

I nodded. “Is there more?”

His eyebrows arched. “More?”

“I want to know all your good boy ways.” I reached between us, taking his cock in my hand.

He hissed with pleasure. “Fuck.”

He reached for the covers, pulling them over us. “You’re not backing out of this.”

“Never,” I whispered.

“Good. Neither am I.”

We lined up on the field just like every other time before now.

Except this time, I had people in the stands and not just fans, but people I actually cared about seeing me play my best.

If I turned my head to the left, I could see Hunter sitting in

my box with Julie. Pops was up there too.

I didn’t, though.

I didn’t want these fuckers across from me on the field to know I gave a damn what anyone thought because they would use that shit against me in every way possible.

I called for the snap and Jordan spiked the ball straight into my hands. I counted one second, two, and then I looked out into the sea of bodies for a free man. I spotted Donnie across the field. He was there waiting for me right where he was supposed to be. I pulled back my arm and let the ball sail.

He caught it effortlessly, turning and tucking it under his arm before he was sacked at the forty-three-yard line. The team rushed forward, huddling quickly to hear the next play, and then lining up again so we didn’t waste too much time on the clock.

The next play we ran was like the first, except where I passed the ball to Donnie the last time, this time I pitched it off to Joe and then ran along the side line with Aaron, making sure Joe got the three yards we needed for the first down.

He made it all the way to the twenty-six-yard line before being tackled out of bounds, stopping the clock completely. I slapped him on the ass when I made my way back to the huddle, our way of congratulating each other, and then called the next play.

We had a sure fire way of winning this game and I wanted to make sure it happened. It was the first time that I could think of that my QB box was filled with the most important people in my life.

Taking my spot behind Jordan, I glanced down the line, checking my other teammates. Several nodded their heads, letting me know they were ready. It was time to handle this shit.

I called the snap and then took a step back, searching the field for someone open. I spotted Donnie in the distance. Free and clear.

Pulling back, I let the pass fly. It sailed through the air perfectly, whistling as it soared straight into Donnie’s wide open arms. He tucked the ball under his right arm and turned, digging his feet into the grassy terrain and pushing off with speed and agility.

I jogged down the field, following the rest of the team as he ran parallel with the sideline, his foot not once touching the white line. Defense wasn’t even close to him, but our team still tracked his movements, lining up beside him, following him, protecting him.

I glanced at the play clock and then back down the field. He was in the redzone. A few more steps and…

Touchdown.

Fuck yeah. I knew we could handle this shit.
