But as she heard the water running in the bathroom attached to his office, she knew he wouldn’t leave her alone for long. Only moments later the feeling of a warm rag between her thighs had her breathing out in contentment.
When he’d cleaned her, he helped her off the table, tuned her around, and pulled her in for a hug.
“Are you okay, baby?”
She nodded against his chest and closed her eyes.
He cupped the back of her head, and for long seconds they didn’t move, just held each other and enjoyed the aftereffect of what they’d just done.
“You know how much I love you?”
The rumbling in his chest from when he spoke was comforting to her, and she pulled back and looked into his face. “I know you love me as much as I love you.”
Viktor cupped her face and leaned down to kiss her on the forehead. They went back to embracing, and Karina knew that out of uncertainty could come the most perfect and right thing in the world.
And that was what she’d found with Viktor.
