Her Two Wilde Billionaire Bad Boys (Wilde, Nevada 3)

“Fuck you.” Chuck laughed. “I’m bigger.”
“You wish.”
“Do you think Michael is telling the truth about this town of his, Lance?”
He knew Chuck better than anyone. Like him, there was a void in his friend’s life that needed to be filled. By what? Neither of them had a clue. That’s why their days and nights were just one long di
version, going from one party to the next. “It’s gotta be called Wilde for a reason.”
Out of the blue, Michael had sent them an e-mail to join him in his new residence, a tiny town in Northern Nevada. Michael had been part of the jet set, like them, trekking across the globe from one party to the next. Then, he’d fallen off the map.
“He said in his message that we would love the openness of the citizens. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m intrigued.”
“So am I, Chuck. So am I.”
“Regardless, we always have a great time when we’re with Michael.”

Chuck stepped off the jet and onto the tarmac with Lance following behind.
“That last thirty minutes of our flight was no picnic,” Lance said, referring to the turbulence.
“I agree. It’s nice to be on old mother earth again.”
“Welcome to Nevada, guys.” Michael stood in front of them. “What do you think of my new runway?”
Lance put his arm around their friend’s shoulder. “This is yours?”
“I built it for the town.” Michael had always had a generous heart. “The grand opening is set for next week.”
“Pretty short runway,” Chuck teased. “Nothing commercial can land here.”
“If you want to build something bigger, Chuck, be my guest. Anything you want to do to help develop this area would be great.”
“Michael, have you changed? Where is the fun-loving, sun-seeking, Peter Pan, gay guy we partied with on Depp’s yacht at Cannes two years ago?”
“Still here. That’s why I love this place. I’m sure you will love it, too.” Michael led them to his car, a stretch limo. The driver opened the door for them. “Thanks, Neil.” They all got inside the stretch. “Actually, I asked you here for a reason. I’ve got some things I want to talk to both of you about.”
“You brought us here to pitch something?” Lance frowned. “Michael, you know we are retired.”
“At thirty years old? Lance, you guys have to be tired of playing. Right?”
He and Lance shrugged.
“Guys, isn’t it time for something more rewarding? You built an incredible business together. Don’t you miss that feeling you had back then?”
Michael had hit the nail on the head, but Chuck wasn’t about to let him know it. He wondered what their friend was up to. Why had he brought them here? “What are you selling, Michael?”
“Wilde, Nevada. My town.”
Lance’s eyebrows shot up. “It sounds like you’ve put down roots here.”
“I have. I think you two will see why once I show you around. It’s like no other place in the world, and as you know, I’ve seen a whole lot of the world. The citizens are the most open-armed, wonderful, nonjudgmental people I’ve ever seen.”
Lance smiled. “So you only want us for our money, not our good looks.”
“Guys, I’m serious. I’m funding tons of projects around town. The family who owns the mine is jumping in, too. I’ve built a resort for gay clientele already. It opens next month. We are also founding a college, plus many more projects that I hope you’ll be interested in.”
