"I think that it wouldn't change that we’re family," Brooks said. He wrapped his arms around my neck and added, "I don't care where we live, as long as I'm with you."

He kissed me, but when his hand skimmed my waist, I couldn't help but wince.

Brooks practically jumped back and said, "What? What is it? Are you okay?"

"I may have a little surprise for you under here," I said as I began to lift my shirt.

Brooks grinned and said, "Baby, I've explored every inch of you. I'm pretty sure I've also had every inch of you in my mouth. We’re way beyond those kinds of surprises."

I rolled my eyes at him and then took his hand and used it to lift my shirt. That drew his attention to my side. I'd already taken the bandage off because I knew it would've freaked him out if he’d seen it, so when he spied what was on my side, his breath caught in his throat.

"Did you get a new tattoo?" he asked as he saw the ink. He’d been fascinated by the few tattoos I had on my body and never failed to give them extra attention.

I moved closer to the light on the nightstand so he could see what the tattoo was. "You remember that night in the woods when I found you?"

"Yeah?" Brooks said, clearly confused.

"You kept saying how you wanted to see me covered in pi."

Brooks hesitated a moment, then smiled. "I thought I dreamt that part. I—" His words cut off abruptly as he shifted his gaze from my face to my tattoo. Then he began to cry. It wasn't a surprise. It was one of my most favorite things about Brooks, the way he carried his heart on his sleeve.

"I can't believe you did this," Brooks said as he ran his fingers along the numbers that were tattooed up the length of my side. "It's pi," he whispered.

"Well, not completely. Since pi is an infinite number, there wasn't exactly room for it," I began to say, but then Brooks tackled me onto the bed. His mouth closed over mine and he kissed me hard.

"Say more stuff like that," he said.

My cock was painfully hard, so I rolled Brooks onto his back and began grinding against him. "What stuff?" I asked breathlessly.

"The math stuff," he said with a grin.

I began laughing so hard, I couldn't stop. Brooks pulled me down for a kiss. We were grinning against each other's mouths as he said, "Now you know my most shameful secret. Math gets me hot."

I chuckled and said, "And all the times in school when I thought I'd never need math." I kissed him and then said, "Fractions."

Brooks arched into me and began rubbing his hand over my ass. "More," he said. His eyes were alight with laughter and desire.

I kissed him softly and said, "I love you so much, Brooks."

He held my face. "I love you too, Xavier."

We held each other for a moment longer and then I did exactly what my man needed me to do.

I did math with him.
