He knows it.

The bastard is enjoying this.

I don’t know how long he keeps me waiting there, but it

feels like an hour when he returns with one of the takeout cartons and chopsticks.

I never learned how to use them, but as he brings a bite to his lips it’s obvious he’s a pro.

He’s ditched his shirt, unbuttoned his jeans and tugged the zipper down a bit.

“No underwear?” I challenge like he did.

He smirks. “I knew I wouldn’t need them.”

Sweet baby Jesus we’re dangerous.

He sits down on the coffee table and holds a bite out to me.

“You were serious?”

“Yup,” he says, shaking the piece of chicken. “Eat up. You’re going to need your energy.”

I take the bite, glaring at him.

“You can look at me like you hate me all you want. Your body says otherwise.”

Sure enough, my hips are angled toward him and I have no idea how they got there. I can feel wetness beginning to seep out of me too.

He takes another bite before holding one out to me.

I can’t help but notice how long and strong his fingers are. I didn’t even know fingers could be strong—but yeah, Hollis’s definitely are.

He takes turns feeding himself and me until the box is empty.

“Still hungry?” he asks.

I shake my head. I’m not hungry for food anymore—but him? Yes, please.

“More for me then.” He shrugs and disappears once more.

I press my free hand over my mouth to stifle my protest. I can’t let him know his little game is getting to me.

I can’t see him, forcing all my other senses to become laser focused.

I hear the scrape of chopsticks against a container. His feet shuffling across the floor. He clears his throat.

He’s eating, standing in my kitchen without a care in the world, and I’m handcuffed naked to my couch. This was not how I foresaw the first night in my place going.

“Sure you don’t want more?” he calls from the kitchen.

“I’m sure,” I reply, my voice thankfully stronger than I thought it would be.

Like before, he takes his sweet time. Even from here, unable to see him, I can feel the smugness rolling off of him in waves. He craves power and right now he’s in the ultimate power position.

The more time passes the faster my heart beats, thumping in my ear. It becomes so loud it drowns everything else out and I nearly jump when he appears in front of me.

“Is that … are you eating ice cream?”
