“You tell me.”

“I have another two weeks here.”

“So do I.”

“Then spend it with me. We can make some memories that we’ll never forget. Then we can resume our regular lives.”

I swallowed down the lump now in my throat. This wasn’t supposed to be so intense. I wasn’t supposed to feel so emotional at the idea of going back to my real life.

“Okay,” I said, pushing down the melancholy.

“I’m glad we’re in agreement.” He ran a thumb over my lower lip as I felt the press of his growing cock against my thigh.

Setting a hand on Hagen’s chest, I forced him onto his back and straddled him. “Let’s start right here, right now.”

He peered up at me, threading his fingers in my tousled hair, and drew me to him. “Yes, let’s start right here.”

I sighed, dropping my head back against the seat as I waited for the last passenger to arrive for the first leg of my flight home. I’d had over two weeks of fun and relaxation. And mind-blowing sex with a man sexier than sin.

Part of me never wanted to leave and spend the rest of my life on this amazing island. The rational part of me screamed that my job wasn’t flexible and required my physical presence in one place.

Being an adult sucked sometimes.

I sighed.

At least I’d have the memories of this beautiful place, and the incredible time I’d had with Hagen. And especially all the nights I’d had the pleasure of spending in his strong, muscled arms. My heart ached at the look on his face when I’d left him this morning.

I lifted my gaze as the passenger stepped on to the plane and the flight attendant said, “Welcome aboard, sir. We will serve a light lunch as soon as we reach cruising altitude.”

My breath caught as I stared into the deep ocean-blue eyes of the very man I’d been thinking of and missing only seconds earlier.

“Looks like I’m on the same flight home as you. Mind if I sit next to you?”

I licked my parched lips and nodded. “Go right ahead.”

He buckled in next to me, accepting a drink from the flight attendant.

A few minutes later, the jet taxied and took off.

We remained quiet, not saying anything. The pull I felt toward him was almost too painful.

Reaching over to my lap, Hagen lifted my left hand in his, making me close my eyes for a brief moment as I took in the comfort of his touch.

“I have something I forgot to give you this morning at the resort. I’ve had it in the safe for the last two weeks.”

“What is it?”

“This.” He lifted a set of wedding rings made of pink and white diamonds. “They belong to you.”

My heartbeat accelerated as he slipped them on my ring finger and then kissed the top of my hand.

“No more pretending to be strangers.”

“Okay.”

“No more games where you aren’t mine. I don’t like it. You were born mine.”

I sighed and shook my head in exasperation. “Didn’t you enjoy it?”
