Ride the Wreck (Stonewall Investigations Blue Creek 2) - Page 80

It felt never-ending. Both of us were left in a spasming puddle of come and sweat, skin flushed and breaths coming in heavy. I looked into Ryan’s bright blue eyes, matching smiles curling on both of our lips. His hair was messed up, and there were still some dark shadows around his eyes from the makeup. He looked like he’d been hit by a drag truck, and I never loved him more than in this moment.

I came in for a kiss, the smiles growing, our breaths stabilizing.

“I love you, so fucking much,” I said against his lips. He still held me inside him, and fuck, I never wanted to separate. I never wanted this night to end.

“You’re my sunshine.” I kissed him again. “My sun and my stars. My moon and my lighthouse. My golden retriever of a man… Look at me—your ass was so good that you’ve got me speaking in verse.”

“Keep going, Shakespeare.” Ryan’s hands trailed up and down my sides. He looked like he was admiring some kind of famous painting or something. His eyes were crinkled at the corners and were glued to mine.

“You’re my home,” I said, using my words as a period to my short poem.

“And you’re mine.” Ryan kissed me tenderly. We spent the rest of the night alternating between making wedding plans and making love, the sun coming up on another day made for spending with my other half.

THE END.
