They always had a tit for tat every single time they did anything. So, Alec waited, and it was damn hard to do. When Key returned, he had a new beer and a chilled wine bottle with about a glassful of wine left, which he poured directly into Alec’s empty glass.

“You might have gotten a sunburn today,” Alec said, bringing the glass to his lips.

“I’ll be fine.” Key pulled his chair closer to Alec’s, taking a seat as a yawn slipped free. In the distance, the first loud boom of fireworks exploded, brightening the sky.

“Wanna go upstairs, see if we can actually see the city fireworks from up there?” Alec asked.

“I don’t need to see ’em.” Key didn’t look away even when the next round of fireworks created an even louder boom.

“Me neither.” He picked up Key’s hand, played with his fingers until he lifted Key’s knuckles to his lips.

“I drank too much. The dinner helped, but I’m still a little fuzzy,” Key said. His eyes focused on Alec’s mouth and that sinful tongue swept across his lower lip.

“Havana” by Camila Cabello began to play, and Alec launched himself out of his seat faster than he had intended. This had been his fantasy for months. A go-to in his mind while thinking of and missing Key.

“Dance with me.”

“Yeah. I don’t dance,” Key grumbled, twisting his neck one way then the other to follow Alec’s movements. He wasn’t taking no for an answer and pulled at Key’s arms as his lover resisted his request. Key shook his head. Oh no, this was going to happen. Alec countered with a nod and tugged harder, using all his strength until Key reluctantly—meaning he had no choice—got to his feet.

“I’ve never danced with anyone ever. You’re gonna be disappointed,” Key said, gathering his long hair off his shoulders, expertly tying it in a knot. A sure sign he was either anxious or perhaps thinking this over. Probably both.

“Never. And I love being your first. Come close. Move in.” Alec positioned them hip to hip, placing his hands at Key’s waist, gripping his ass. He stared up into Key’s eyes, getting momentarily lost in the range of emotion reflected at him. Uncertainty lurked there, lust, and definitely humor, but the trust he saw meant the most.

Alec loved these moments even though they were few and far between. He felt small in Key’s arms, and no one had ever accused him of being small before. He also felt whole in Key’s arms—complete. Lost in that thought, he started a gentle sway that Key didn’t participate in.

“Hold me tighter and move your hips.”

Key did, jiggling them back and forth, and they both laughed at the move.

“No. Like this,” Alec said and swayed his hips seductively, using his hands to move Key’s in the same motion.

“I’m not a dancing guy.” Maybe not, but Key was doing great. Alec widened his stance and pushed Key to follow his move for a deeper hip thrust.

“I love to dance, especially like this.” Alec kept his hands on Key’s hips, guiding them in an even rhythm until Key got it, and Alec wrapped one arm around his lover’s waist. “That’s good. You have natural rhythm.”

“That’s bullshit.” Key laughed, but wrapped those brawny arms around Alec to keep them locked together.

“Now bend your legs and go low with me…” Alec moved, dropping his body lower. Key easily followed, staying right with Alec. “Really good. Now, move your feet with me. Small steps back and forth.”

“Let’s not and just stay like this.” Key tightened both arms around Alec’s waist, hands on his ass, which drew him flush against his biker’s broad chest.

Yeah, this was a much better idea.

“I’ve fantasized about you and me out here, dancing to this song. Flips my switch, makes me hard every time,” he whispered and pressed that hardness into Key, letting him take the lead. Alec slid his hands up Key’s broad chest, circling his neck until he reached the knot in Key’s hair. The song came to an end too soon. “Alexa, play ‘Havana’ by Camila Cabello.”

Key’s long hair fell around his shoulders. Alec itched to touch the silky strands. Key’s gaze stayed glued to Alec’s lips and his hips kept time with Alec’s.

“I knew we’d burn up the dance floor.”

“We fit,” Key muttered.

Alec threaded his fingers through the strands and didn’t have to encourage Key’s head down. He nibbled along the seam of Alec’s lips, not necessarily demanding entrance, more like lingering, licking his way across the contour of his mouth, sampling his lips.

Key moved his hand, sliding one to the small of Alec’s back, drawing his rigid cock against Key’s equally hard dick. With the other, he held Alec’s neck and jaw, titling his head. Alec maintained the sensual sway as he opened his mouth and Key delved inside. Oh God, this was hotter than Alec had imagined. He was consumed from the very first slide of Key’s insistent tongue. The sexy beat faded, the sounds of fireworks popping in the distance disappeared. Alec locked his arms around Key’s neck, his fingers clutching that long hair as his body erupted with desire.
