I shook my head. “Milk for density is a rookie mistake.”

“And I like my bacon crispy,” he added, without missing a beat. “And if you’re up for making hash browns, I—”

Holly elbowed him silent and slid the coffee pot his way. She looked adorable, even bedraggled. She had that sexy, smudged-makeup, ‘I just got some’ look about her. Only she’d gotten about twice as much as she bargained for, and then some.

I still can’t believe you’re doing this.

Ah, the voice of reason. The voice of ‘sanity’. It was a voice I’d told to fuck off several times over the past two weeks, and so far the results had been… interesting.

Is that really the word for it?

No, actually. The word was awesome. Because as incredible as taking Holly on my desk and in my bed had been, taking her with someone else had been amazingly, unspeakably hot.

The voyeuristic side of me was more than satiated, as I knew it would be. But as much as I’d loved watching? I’d loved experiencing it from my end, too. It was twice as fun being responsible for Holly’s pleasure, knowing I had someone else on my team. And just seeing her on the bed last night, writhing in her restraints… responding to our every touch…

My God.

It was truly astonishing, just how much I’d gotten off on the whole thing: Sneaking into her apartment with Brody’s help. Taking her totally by surprise. Watching her magnificent body stiffen from head to toe, as I slid myself all the way inside her…

It really was a like a dream. The fulfillment of a longtime fantasy. And as with any fantasy, the danger existed that in actual practice it wouldn’t live up to my imagination.

Yet the more I examined the events of last night, the more I came to realize it wasn’t even the least bit awkward. Brody had been surprisingly cool. Holly had been unbelievably receptive. And fucking her from both ends… taking her so fully and completely as she moaned and whimpered between us?

Holy fucking shit.

My favorite part had been the exact moment the blindfold came off. I’d loved just staring into Holly’s eyes. Watching them try to adjust before she finally saw me, her pretty irises all hazy and unfocused and swimming with lust…

But can you really do this? As in relationship do this?

That was the million dollar question. I’d had girlfriends before with various commitment levels. Women who required very little attention, and women who needed so much of it that it hurt our overall romance.

But Holly was mature, driven, self-sufficient. Intelligent and sweet. On top of that she was drop-dead gorgeous — everything I’d always wanted in a woman. Losing her because I couldn’t keep up my end of the relationship due to business obligations would be devastating, yet given my work ethic, it was almost inevitable.

But with two other guys? Working side by side with you to fulfill her needs?

It was still so incredibly strange, even after last night, to think of sharing her with another guy.

And yet, Donovan was a lot like me. The more I talked to him, the more I realized we shared common interests and goals. We’d even worked out together at his gym a few times, something Holly wasn’t even aware of. Shit, we’d actually become friends.

That left Brody, the young gun. The one I figured I might easily butt heads with. And yet, for someone his age? He was every bit as mature as the rest of us. Maybe even more so, considering his circumstances. Given the unfortunate childhood of growing up without parents, his grandmother had gone above and beyond to raise herself a smart, well-adjusted, down to earth grandson.

Last night had been the bigger test of whether or not I could go through with it all. Could I physically share a girlfriend? And not just on a scheduled basis either, but simultaneously? The idea had always intrigued me. Secretly, I’d always wanted to try it.

And it turned out to be even hotter than I ever thought it would be…

“You’re burning the eggs.”

Brody’s voice broke me out of my trance. By the time I looked down, it was already too late. My would-be omelet had solidified into a single piece of fried, buttery plastic, and my bacon wasn’t cooking at all. I had it on the wrong burner, actually. It was still raw.

“There’s a diner around the block,” Holly chuckled, before adding a sigh. “Which one of you is treating?”

Brody glanced up and pointed a finger my way. I smirked back at him and lowered my head.

“Alright,” I said, dropping the pan in defeat. “Let’s go.”
