“Whoa-whoa-whoa, dad? We’ve only known each other for two weeks, barely. And you already have us married with children.” I didn’t know what to make of his laugh at the end, or when he told me his guest had arrived and he had to go. What guest?
JONAS
So she’s the heiress to the Sellers corporation. What a small world, and what are the odds? I’ve never met the man, but have studied his work model both in college and in the years since.
The man is a legend in most business circles, and anyone who’s worth their salt in the business world has either learned at his feet or read one of his biographies. He’s also filthy rich, yes as rich as me.
“So she didn’t tell you that she was mine?
“Nope, she gave me some bogus name.”
“It’s her grandmother’s maiden name. She uses it when she’s away from home.”
“Well, since you came to see me I suppose you have something of great import to share?”
“As a matter of fact.” We spent the next hour and a half speaking man to man.
I didn’t even have to think twice when faced with the hard questions. Until I received that damn text message earlier I was well on the way to being the happiest I’d ever been.
I knew that the mere fact that I was willing to go against my mother to keep her was a sign that she was more than just a fling. That she wasn’t going to be as easy to forget as the others.
I hadn’t been thinking marriage exactly but I knew I wanted her with my for a long time. It wasn’t until I saw her with the strange man with his hands on her that I realized how deep my feelings really ran.
I didn’t want anyone else having her, being that close to her. I never wanted anyone else to ever feel her silk walls again.
Now I’m sitting in front of her dad like some eighteenth century gent asking for his lady’s hand in marriage. “You know that my daughter is my only heir. She’s supposed to take over the business when I retire.”
“Is that what she wants?” He didn’t answer, just gave me a look. “How about this? I’ll help her run the business when the time comes and she can continue with her designs, it’s what she likes.”
His smile said that he’d set a trap and I’d passed. But it wasn’t that hard to do. It was obvious that we both loved her and wanted what was best for her.
“I will leave that up to you two then. We’ll work out the particulars when the time comes. If you mistreat her, they won’t find the body I don’t care how much money you have. That’s my little girl.”
The look he gave me said he meant every word. And though I knew there was no way in hell he’d ever touch me if it came to that, I had to respect that he was looking out for his daughter. I nodded my acceptance of his threat and felt the knots in my gut loosen.
She was asleep in our bed when I let myself in a few hours later. I’d deliberately gone back to the office after leaving her dad so I could calm myself down.
Even though I’d squared things away with her dad, I was still pissed at her for sending me that text and she still haven’t given me a good enough reason.
I’m sure it has something to do with my mother’s behavior, but if that’s the case she should just come out and say it, instead of hiding behind that bullshit lie that she was doing it for me.
I just got angrier on the way up in the elevator, but when I opened the door and saw her lying there my heart just grew soft and my dick hard. I have a feeling that’s the way shit is going to be from now on
She didn’t stir when I walked around the room stripping off my clothes, or when I climbed into bed behind her. Or when I put my hands on her. It was only at the feel of my tongue sliding into her that she awakened fully, wrapping her thick thighs around my head and tugging at my hair.
No words were spoken as I loved her with my tongue before climbing up her body to feed her my cock. “I love you. No, don’t say anything.” I shushed her when she went to speak.
I held her head in my hands and looked into her eyes as I stroked into her, going deep and holding still. “I’ve never said those words to anyone and don’t plan to say them to anyone but you ever again.”
“If you ever in your life, send me a message like the one you sent today, I’ll never forgive you.”
