Logan (Filthy Rich Alphas) - Page 43

The elevator rose.

“You’re done.”

I nodded. “I’m done with the both of them.”

“Good.” A wicked grin spread across his face. “Now you have enough space for me.”

“Which is so important.”

“It is.” He captured me again and drew me to him, landing lovely kisses all over my face before trapping my lips and never letting go.

I groaned into his mouth, unable to help myself.

Kissing me, he whispered against my lips, “You’ll never have any regrets with me, Mia. Never.”

“I know.” I closed my eyes and relished in the beautiful feel of his tongue. I leaned my head back, drowning in Logan as he took me over with erotic caresses.

The elevator doors slid open, and we didn’t stop. We couldn’t. It felt too good. And the moment was just right and...

A camera flashed.

“Oh my God!” Monica shrieked. “Logan’s kissing Mia!”

Another flash came.

Logan groaned in annoyance, left my lips, and turned to his baby sister. “It’s midnight, Monica. Why are you even out here?”

She snapped another picture of us. “I was worried about you and had security call me whenever you entered the building.”

“Hey, Mia.” She waved at me, her face giddy with excitement. “So...you two...are what?”

“We’re trying to go to my condo without a bunch of commotion. That’s what we are.” Logan grabbed her phone and went through it, deleting images. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight?” Monica widened her eyes and pointed. “Tell me this, Logan. Are you battling hot passion? You’re not yourself anymore? You’re someone else? A man unbridled with passion. A man that’s in love—”

“Stop smoking marijuana, Monica.” Logan took my hand and guided us away.

Giggling, I walked out of the elevator. “Hey, Monica.”

“You must be swooning from that kiss and coming down from the heat of his manly—”

“I thought I asked you to stop reading Patricia’s novels also?” Logan gave her back the phone and took out his keys.

She frowned. “They’re historicals.”

“They’re full of sex.”

She raised one finger in the air. “Yes, but pumped up with great facts about history. I’m learning about the lineage of kings and queens as well as the passion of throbbing members.”

“Yeah, stop reading them.” He pointed up. “And go to sleep.”

“I was worried about you.” She crossed her arms in front of her chest. “You turned off your phone. We all called.”

“For what? You all needed stuff?”

She smiled. “Well...yes, but we were worried about you too.”

“I’ll see you in the morning.” He opened the door.

“What?” Monica started texting in her phone. “Mia is here. It’s a party. I’m calling the twins and everyone down—”

Logan grabbed her phone from her. “Hell no. Enough is enough.”

I chuckled to myself.

Monica eyed him. “What do you mean, enough is enough?”

“I will see you tomorrow. You all can bother me then, but I’ve had a long day. I just want...”

“Some unbridled passion?” Monica giggled and backed away.

I grinned. “Monica, please be good.”

“Fine. But only because you asked Mia.”

Logan groaned.

Monica continued, “I can’t wait to tell everyone anyway. I win fifty dollars. You two got together this month. The twins said it would be spring.” She held out her hand. “Can I get my phone back?”

“Yeah.” He gave it to her. “I can’t believe you all had a betting pool with Mia and me.”

“Hey, Patricia said you would never take the step to talk to Mia. She placed a hundred on your cowarding out the whole year.”

He winked at his sister. “Good. I’ll get her back for that later. Have a good night.”

She frowned at me. “Bye, Mia. It appears my brother has taught me to share my whole life, but will not be sharing you this evening—”

“Or ever,” he added and went into his apartment.

“Bye, Monica.” I waved at her. “Get back up to your apartment safely.”

“Oh, please. Logan is a paranoid freak. He has cameras everywhere.”

“Okay.” Still, I made sure she made it to the elevator and climbed on. When she did, I entered Logan’s place and caught him watching me.

“You’re a good person, Mia.”

“What made you say that?”

“I’ve just always thought that.”

The door shut behind me.

“And what else have you thought?” I asked.

“That you’re sexy as fuck.”

“Hmmm.”

“I’m also mad you changed out of the Kingmaker halter top.”

“Me too. I think I would’ve enjoyed feeling you rip it off.”

“Next time.”

My breathing shifted to low panting. “Next time, indeed.”

My nipples harden beneath my shirt. A throb of desire pulsed straight to the space between my thighs. All I could think about was how it would be to have him all over me, moving in and out of me the rest of the night, until the sun rose and blazed the sky with light.

He remained a few feet in front of me, yet looked like he was close to gathering me in his arms. “Would you like any wine?”

“No, thank you.”

He studied me some more with a heated gaze. Everywhere he looked, my skin went warm. No one had ever looked at me like that before. Like it reached beyond regular lust and desire. As if he yearned to possess me.
