Blood & Bones - Dodge (Blood Fury MC 10) - Page 108

No matter how much something turned him the fuck on, if it didn’t do the same for Syn, he would avoid it.

Give and take.

There was a time to be firm and dominant, but also a time to be soft and understanding.

He wanted her to enjoy his version of vanilla spice. He wanted her to sip that spice, savor it and then ask for seconds. If she was comfortable with whatever they tried, he’d increase the spice until they found what worked for them both.

Ebb and flow.

He’d seen how it worked for Deacon and Reese, who were total opposites. For them, their push and pull worked perfectly. Another example of complete opposites were Ozzy, who could be overbearing, and his introverted ol’ lady, Shay. It turned out Shay’s personality was exactly what the club secretary needed for balance.

Dodge tended to be overbearing, too, especially when it came to sex. He preferred women who could handle his aggressiveness in bed.

He hoped like fuck Syn could handle him. He didn’t want to dial himself down to the point he never got what he needed. Sig had to turn off a lot of shit to be with Red and sometimes it showed. Sig was willing to do what it took to be with Red, even if it was a sacrifice for him.

Dodge just hoped it never backfired. Red was the type of woman who wouldn’t be able to live with herself if it did.

He pushed thoughts of Syn’s brother out of his head and focused on Syn, instead.

Leaning forward, he pulled a peaked nipple into his mouth, sucking it as deeply as he could until his molars scraped the very tip. He continued to hold onto her firmly, not letting her pull away. If she didn’t like what he was doing, she needed to speak up. He wasn’t going to guess.

He’d stressed that to her when they had taken that shower together. And reminded her again when he slowly unwrapped the towel as she stood in front of him.

When he released her nipple, it was shiny and slightly swollen, but while he sucked it, her fingers had slid into his hair, gripping it firmly. She didn’t free his hair when he pulled back slightly and looked up into her face. Her eyes were unfocused and her lips parted slightly.

He found that her having tits on the smaller side allowed him to take almost the whole thing into his mouth. He liked that. Much more than he expected.

More than a handful’s a waste.

That saying wasn’t quite true, but what Syn had was perfect for her size. And that mouthful was tasty as fuck.

He tugged one of her hands free from his hair and wrapped her fingers around his hard-on, showing her what he wanted her to do.

As she stroked him slowly, he brushed the back of his fingers down her flushed cheek, then curled them firmly around the delicate column of her throat.

Breath play had always turned him the fuck on. She hadn’t seemed to mind it the other night, but he also hadn’t pushed it too far. Now, he didn’t know if it might fuck with her head.

“Need to know if my hand on your throat’s gonna trigger you. This is why I keep bringin’ up communication. It’s gonna be key with most of the shit we do.” More like most of the shit he wanted to do.

“It didn’t the other night.”

“Good to know.”

“Do you want to know why?” she asked, still stroking him but picking up the pace a little. He tried to concentrate on what they were discussing and not on what she was doing with her hand. But when she squeezed him tightly, his hips jumped. She did it again like she was trying squeeze the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube.

He wasn’t mad about it at all.

He forced his brain to function so he could ask, “‘Cause you’re into it?” Like her, her hands were petite, but the one jerking him still packed a fucking punch.

“Well, that. Surprisingly. But it’s not the only reason.”

He kept one hand on her throat and used the other to drag his thumb across her bottom lip before dipping it inside. One corner of his mouth curled up when the tip of her tongue touched the tip of his thumb. “Tell me,” he whispered, his dick flexing within her fingers.

Her words sounded like they’d been drenched in honey when she said, “Because I trust you.”

I trust you.

Fuck. Those three words meant more to him than she’d ever know. To him they were almost the same as saying she loves him. He knew she didn’t. They hadn’t spent enough time together for that to develop.

To love someone completely, you had to trust them. So, it could be the first step toward something solid between them. A seed that could potentially grow into something more.
