“And a wedding,” my father snarls.

“Yes. That’s another thing. Franco can’t wait for us to get married.” I smile as I say it, knowing I’m equally excited about the prospect of being his wife. My heart beats hard against my chest with such happiness it’s difficult to express.

“In the castle would be epic,” Anabelle says.

Franco takes my phone and puts it on speaker. “Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Jones. I’m Franco Fiore, and I’ve been madly in love with your Isabelle since we met, and I regretfully allowed my injuries to hold me back.”

“Were you suffering from some addiction?”

“Only to my own pity. I’ve been hiding away licking my wounds, never thinking that Isabelle felt the same way. I promise to always love and treasure her.”

“That’s good to hear, because I’ve hunted before, young man.”

“Glad we’re on the same page. Although we haven’t discussed it, I want to marry Isabelle soon because we’ve wasted two years already.”

“How soon? We’re not going to miss her wedding.”

He looks to me, and I shrug. “New Year’s?” I nod and smile because I didn’t believe I’d get to be with the man I’m madly in love with. Nothing has changed in two years except that my feelings feel as though they’ve tripled, if that’s even possible.

“So New Year’s Day?” my mother asks.

“Yes. I’m sure we can get this castle perfect for my Belle.”

“Yay! We need to talk when I get there. There’s so much to do.”

“My cousin and assistant, Mia, will be able to help.”

“Fantastic.” We speak back and forth for another hour before hanging up with all of them. Suddenly, I find myself pinned to the wall with Franco’s large frame anchoring me. “I’ve missed kissing you.”

“It’s only been an hour.”

“I meant for two years. Lost kisses, the ones for your birthday, for mine, for every holiday, and for no reason at all. I love you, Isabelle, and I don’t want to miss another day.” His mouth skims my jaw, lightly kissing down the column of my neck.

“Merry Christmas.” We only pull back long enough for him to carry me into his office down the hall. Soon, I’m completely naked from the waist down and Franco’s freed himself from his joggers only to plunge into my soaked pussy.

We’ve barely gotten dressed again when Franco’s phone goes off. “Our guests will be here by five and are being cleared now. My head of security will be back as well. He had enough of his siblings.”

“Great. That gives me enough time to get dinner done.”

“Yes, it does, but you don’t have to.”

“Bullshit. I can see how your eyes light up. You know I’ve always wondered what you looked like as you ate my food.”

“Just like I do when I eat your pussy.” He wags his brows up at me, and I can’t stop laughing. The image of the beast from the cartoon with his face all up in the bowl comes to mind. “You don’t laugh when I’m between your legs.” I explain and he grunts, adjusting his cock. “We might have enough time to experiment.” He licks his lips, and I swear it’s like he just spanked my clit.

“I need a shower.”

“So do I.”

“Well, luckily there are plenty available.”

“Luckily, we only need one.”

“I suppose we are.”

“They’re here,” Franco growls. I’ve just started preparing the kitchen for cooking dinner, keeping Rita as far as possible from this room. Turning off the faucet, I dry my hands on a towel before taking off my apron to go meet his family. I’ve met his parents and brother before, so I’m not as nervous because they know me well.

We stand just inside the front door as they climb the steps. Apparently, Fabio and his cousin Soren brought shovels, clearing a path up the steps to the house and tossing a de-icing product on the steps. “Don’t worry, Franco. This won’t erode the steps.”

“Right now, nothing can bother me.”

“I see,” Fabio says, pulling me into his arms for a hug. “I’m sorry about the drive up here,” he whispers before letting me go, sincerity written in his face.

“It’s okay.”

“Okay, that’s enough,” Franco snarls, tugging me to his side.

“At least we know one thing that bothers him.”

“Isabelle.” My sister rushes up the stairs and almost slips, only to have Fabio catch and steady her.

“Damn it, woman. Won’t you ever learn to be careful?”

“Only around bossy men,” she hisses at him and then turns back to me with a super smile. “Merry Christmas. I’m so glad you’re safe.”

“I haven’t officially met either of you ladies, but I’m Mia.”

“Hi, Mia. God, you’re still as beautiful as I remember.”

“Same to you, girl. I’ll introduce you to the family later, but let’s walk.” Mia slides her arm over my shoulder and leads the way through a massive entryway with floor-to-two-story ceilings. “From the smile on my cousin’s face, I want to say thank you. It’s nice to see him happy, and the only one to make him that way is you.”
