Trouble Travels in Threes (Trouble, Tennessee 3) - Page 21

Chapter Nine

“Derek is on the gate. I’m here with Draegan. Stay with her, Ryan. Don’t let her out of your sight.”

“Drunk? Ellie? Well, let her sleep it off. Draegan will go stay with Serena until—” Allister frowned at Draegan and Mac. “Yeah well, I’d say that’s not the news he was hoping for, but I’ll tell him. Tell Ellie I love her. We’ll keep you posted.”

Allister slipped his phone in his shirt pocket and shot Mac one of those looks a brother will sometimes share when he thinks he’s going to need some help.

“Let me guess. Serena doesn’t want to see me?”

Allister snickered. “Something tells me you’d rather hear that than what I’m about to say.”

“Then don’t say it,” Draegan snapped, going through his phone again.

“She’s with the very one we need to talk to.”

“What?” Draegan clenched his fists. “Who is she with…Brice?”

Allister slowly nodded.

“Son of a bitch! Who let him in here after curfew?”

“That would probably be our baby brother, Harley,” Mac replied, seemingly amused.

“Well somebody needs to remind him of house rules,” Draegan snapped, snatching his jacket from the coat tree.”

“Where do you think you’re going?” Allister blocked one exit and Mac stood in front of the other.

“Out of my way or I’ll move ya, Allister.”

“Not going to happen,” Allister said, nodding at Mac. “Let Mac go get him. We’re going to need him on this, Draegan.”

“The devil will be singing in a church’s choir before I’ll ask that man for my help.”

Allister smirked. “Mac, go serenade Serena and the devil—I mean the detective. While you’re at it, bring Serena down here so we can keep an eye on her.”

“Funny, asshole.” Mac disappeared before Draegan could stop him.

“Now before you get any wise ideas, I want you to hear me out.” Allister leveled a glare on Draegan. “We need to focus on helping Markie. In order to do that, we’re going to need the cop’s help.”

“We’ve been able to take care of our own just fine before we met Detective Brice. We’ll continue to do the same long after he’s gone.”

Allister sighed. “You need to face the very real possibility that Detective Brice may not be going anywhere anytime soon.”

“He’ll go all right. Just as soon as we’re done with him, I’ll show him to the door.”

Bane had been hooked from the moment he saw Serena pouring coffee in Trouble’s Café. She was a little on the jittery side but he’d had a hunch, a real gut feeling about this one, and she’d proven him right.

He could read women and he could always spot a vixen on the prowl. The shy and quiet types were the women to watch, the ones who could grab hold of a man’s heart and just downright refuse to let him go. And never mind what a gal like Serena did to a man’s anatomy.

After he’d devoured her snatch and enjoyed the hell out of her, he’d carried her to the back bedroom, not at all surprised to find a girly canopy bed. Now he was staring up at the light pink fabric and losing another piece of himself as Serena crawled all over him, rubbing those beautiful tits up and down his leg as she made her way toward his cock.

Bane held himself at the base and massaged his shaft. He was hard as hell and ready for her to take him places a man couldn’t wait to go. “Come on, sweetheart. Crawl on up here.” His mouth watered as she rose over him, her heavy bosom just sexy as hell on her petite frame.

She approached from the end of the bed but then turned sideways. Up on all fours, she placed her palms flat against his hips and lowered her mouth over his rigid cock, sliding up to the tip and back down again.

A few times she nuzzled the end and gave him one of those dreamy looks, those seductive glances. Then, she’d kiss the end, curl her tongue around the crest, and draw him right back into the heart of heaven.
