She never failed to get lost in his kisses. Whether a faint brush of the lips or a tangle of tongues, each and every one was magical and reminded her just how much she loved him.
Of course, they also turned her wet.
She grew excited so fast that they couldn’t often linger in their lovemaking and she was feeling that way now. She needed to be as close to him as she could and the only way was to have him deep inside her.
Her lips left his long enough to say. “I need you.” She returned to the kiss that had her stomach fluttering madly and her desire sparking out of control, which had her saying between her teeth tugging at his lower lip, “I always need you.”
Ruddock cradled her in his arms as he stood and walked to the bed. He set her on her feet and slipped off her robe and before she could get her hands on his garments, he scooped her up and placed her on the bed. Then he hastily disrobed and climbed in bed to stretch out over her, his hands braced to either side of her head to keep his large body hovering just slightly over her.
“I want to taste all of you tonight,” he whispered and buried his face in her neck to start there.
“I won’t last,” she protested.
“Then I’ll bring you to climax again and again.”
She groaned, his hard manhood brushing teasingly between her legs, letting her know the pleasure that lay in wait for her. While she could easily slip her hand down to tease him, make him surrender quicker than he planned, she found she enjoyed him exploring her body with his lips.
He brought her nipples to attention with his tongue and teeth, showering them with playfulness, and moans and deep sighs spilled with pleasure from her lips. But it was what his frisky tongue did to the small tight bud nestled in her triangle of red hair that had her screaming out his name and demanding she needed him inside her right that very moment… or else.
Ruddock brought his face to hers while he tormented her nether regions with his manhood. “Or else what, wife? You’ll climax? Go ahead, since I intend to make you climax again and again and…”
He pressed himself against her, his manhood tormenting that small bud beyond sanity and Sorrell couldn’t hold back any longer, she burst with pleasure, groaning deep and what seemed like forever as ripples of satisfaction coursed through her.
Ruddock watched her and damn if feeling her body arch against his as if she couldn’t get enough of him and the way pleasure rolled off her lips with each ecstatic moan, he almost climaxed as well, a good reason to slip inside her before he did.
He sheathed himself deep within her and her body bolted up to swallow the last of his manhood whole.
“I need to come again,” she cried with an agony of impending pleasure.
Ruddock needed to as well, his passion near ready to explode and he moved within her with an urgency he had never imagined. Her pleading cries of ‘don’t stop, please don’t stop,’ fueling his passion even more.
Sorrell gripped his arms and screamed out his name, a thunderous climax taking hold of her and refusing to let go as it set off a growling rumble in Ruddock’s chest that erupted in a deep groan of pure pleasure as a climax rocked him down to his core.
“I love you, Sorrell,” he said later after his senses returned and when they were wrapped around each other and tucked snugly under the soft wool blanket.
“And I you,” Sorrell said on a yawn, head resting comfortably on her husband’s chest.
Ruddock laid awake as his wife slept soundly in his arms. As much as he didn’t want to think on what had happened, if only for tonight, he couldn’t stop his thoughts. Lander had been found in the woods, his throat slit. Coyle had suffered a fatal stab wound and with no one paying heed to him of late, it had gone unnoticed.
It made Ruddock wonder if it wasn’t what Coyle had seen but what he might have known that got him killed. He had been away when Ruddock had returned home. Where had he gone and for what reason? Could he had been asked to do something for someone? Had he seen that person with Lander and when he learned Lander was dead, murdered, had he feared for his life? Most importantly was the person responsible for all the lies, starting to get rid of anyone who could identify him?
Coyle’s wife, Miriam, had been too distraught to talk with him. However, tomorrow he intended to speak with her and see what she knew about her husband’s time away.
His busy thoughts tired him, his eyes drifting closed and his last thought before he fell asleep was that nothing mattered more than keeping his wife safe.
