Maid for You (The Billionaire's Maid) - Page 16

“Lilah, this is my sister Alaina. She is going to style you for this event.” Oh. My. Gosh. I am going to be styled by Alaina Crimson. Holy crap.

“Uh, thank you.” Really Lilah. You can’t say anything else?

“She is too cute. Can I use the spare bedroom?” she asks, walking over to me. She starts playing with my hair and looking me up and down. Of course, she is going to find me lacking. She rubs elbows with the elite of the elite, compared to them I am the help. Hell, I am the help.

“Of course.”

“Excellent. Go and get yourself ready. Us girl will be just fine.” he leans in and kisses me before turning and heading out of the room.

“Now, let’s get you glammed up.”

I watch as she flutters around the room unpacking dress after dress each one more beautiful than the last. When she pulls out the shoes, I almost choke. No way in hell I can walk in some of those. “Alright. Let’s choose the dress first. That will dictate what I do with your hair and makeup. Do you have a favorite color?”

“Not really. I mean I have colors I don’t think I look good in.” I tell her honestly. I don’t like how I look in pinks and purples. I am a bit chubby compared to my sisters and those colors make me look like an eggplant and cotton candy.

“Well, I brought three dresses with me. This one is beautiful. It shows more skin, but the emerald color would be great with your dark hair and green eyes.” The dress is gorgeous. It is a strapless, fitted bodice and then flares out like a princess down to the floor. The bodice has gold jewels on it. The feature giving me pause is the back. It is literally a naked back. The front of the dress cuts out right in the middle of my sides, barely covering my breasts. No wearing a bra with that one. Blake is definitely not going to like this one. Which may be all the more reason to wear it. “This one I love because it is tight, and the white color gives the wearer an innocence. It’s simplicity.'' She is right once again. It would come above my knee, but in an elegant way. The fabric is solid white with a lace overlay that almost looks like a dress one would change into after their wedding. I love that the sleeves are see through lace and come down to my wrists.

“Wow.” I say looking at it. This is elegance.

“Finally, I brought a classic black dress, with touches of bling.” This dress is understated decadence. It is a floor length, flowy dress, all black. The straps are made of silver jewels, with a sewed in Swarovski crystal belt. When she moves it, I notice the slit would come up to my thigh. Holy hell.

“They are all beautiful.” I tell her, drooling over all of them.

“I know. But which one is going to drive my brother the craziest tonight?” I look at her and giggle when she wiggles her eyebrows. She really is trouble. I like her.

“Definitely the green one.”

“Excellent.” Now let's get your hair and makeup done. I have a pair of shoes for each dress. You can walk in heels, can’t you?” the sheepish look on my face must give it away. “How low are we talking?'' I shrug, not really sure. I have never tried. I am usually in sandals, gym shoes or Ugg’s.

“Oh boy. Ok. I am going to make a heel girl out of you yet.” she winks at me once again and walks away.

The rest of the afternoon is a whirlwind. I insist that I be allowed to shower. Being covered in mammal and dirty water was not a good look or smell for a charity event. When I get out of the shower, Alaina is ready for me. Sitting in the chair, she pulls my hair up and plays with it until she is satisfied. She does my makeup, giving me tips for how to do it myself. “You don’t need a lot. You are naturally beautiful but sometimes a lady needs to be sexy, you know?”

I listen intently as she chatters on and on about the different celebrities she has dressed and how much fun she has traveling the world. She surprises me when she tells me she and I are going to have a girls night next week. I simply nod like a lame, my mind too muffled and overloaded. “Now for the fancy panties.” when she pulls out these gold lace panties I almost passed out. They were positively gorgeous and there is no way I should be wearing these. I mean they are for sophisticated women. Right?

“I don’t know.” I say shaking my head trying to back away from them.
