They tend to play us like a fiddle.

Kylie leans over and presses her lips to my neck. “I’m going to go and get a drink, then are you ready to take me home?”

“Yeah,” I murmur, my disinterest in her almost embarrassing.

I open Snapchat just in time to hear Keaton burst out laughing. Fuckers. Of course she’s gone live so everyone can watch, because why wouldn’t she settle to torment me with photos? She had to make a statement.

I watch as Lilith starts walking around the bonfire of The Woods, interested in the sex that’s going on around her.

I lean back in my chair, a smirk on my mouth. This is Lilith in her playing field. I know what she’s doing. She can play this game all she wants, but it won’t change the truth—that she’s mine.

All fucking mine.

Even if right now, I’m being a fuckwit.

She kisses Angelica, grabbing at her tits before continuing to walk around the couple and up near Luce.

Instantly, I’m sitting up straight in my chair. She fucking wouldn’t. Her being with another woman? Whatever. She tastes good. I’m a gentleman, I’m not going to deprive other women of at least testing the best meal they would never have, but another male? Hell no. Heads will roll.

My smirk is gone and I’m scowling at my phone.

“Fucking Maya. She’s all of our karma, I think,” Killian yaps off in the background. “Just saying, though, fuck, Lilith is something else. She is not a woman to cross.”

When she yanks his head back and tells him to only touch her with her permission, I jump to my feet and keep my phone locked on me while making my way to The Woods. It’s not far from here, about a twenty-minute walk, so if I leave now, I will have time to maybe cool off and not kill them both. And throw Maya in there, too, for good measure.

“Hold up!” Keaton calls out, jogging up behind me. “I’m coming. Make sure you don’t kill anyone.”

“Shouldn’t you be busy getting your dick serviced by your little civilian girlfriend?”

He doesn’t answer, not that I care because all I keep watching is what’s happening on my phone. Lilith starts walking toward Fallon’s RV. Fallon is our artist, not just tattoo but production, too. He does all of the backdrops and media work for promotion.

I chill, slowing my pace as we make our way toward the clearing.

“She’s at home waiting. I need to tell you something about her.”

“What?” I snap, turning to face him. “You’re not that serious about her and you’re only using her?”

“No. Fuck.”

“Well, what?” We hit the clearing and I carry on through the path I know like the back of my hand.

“Never mind.” He shakes his head. I always try to have more patience when it comes to Keaton, because of his past, but the asshole tests me. “Have you told Lilith about Eli?”

The truth suddenly weighs me down. “What? Does she look like I’ve told her?”

“Facts,” Keaton states, and I stop when we reach the bonfire and Luce’s eyes find mine. Maya, the little shit, is on the other side dancing to the music, lost in her daze. I ignore the sex show beside me.

“Where is she?” I ask, even though I know she’s in the RV.

“I sent her to get a tattoo. Figured it would give you enough time to get your ass down here and claim what is by far the hottest piece of ass I have ever seen.” Luce tilts his head. “You know I like them crazy, Ky. It’s like hot sauce to me—everything else tastes bland.”

“Yeah?” I snap, stepping past him. “Well, your hot sauce is currently wanting to drip down my balls if you don’t go get her.”

I pull open the RV door, just in time for Lilith to be sitting up from lying down.

She ignores me, pointing to her fingers. “Now I want the letters KING over my fingers, and REBEL over my pointer finger in a different font. I’ll think of the last tattoo I’ll get.”

Fallon looks up at me from behind his glasses. “’Sup, bro! She yours?”

“Ah!” Lilith raises her finger. “No talking.” She moves her hair away from her neck when I catch the freshly inked tattoo. The small scripture is written like a collar around her neck in small cursive writing. I can’t see what it says from where I’m standing, and I know she’s going to stay here until she’s satisfied, so I take a seat on one of the chairs and watch as Fallon continues with her fingers. I think about yelling at her. Strangling her. Yelling at her while strangling her. But all scenarios end with me balls deep inside. I can’t have her. She’s not going to want me. Him. Either of us. I’m just making the trip quicker.
