To my complete shock she laughs and I look over to see there’s not a trace of fear in her eyes.
“I would agree that maybe it was a little over the top, but I can’t say I didn’t like seeing those jerks who didn’t listen to me thrown out on their butts.”
“I won’t ever let anyone hurt you. You know that, right?” I bring her hand to my mouth and kiss the back of it.
“I’ve never felt more safe than when I’m with you.”
“So maybe my little surprise won’t seem so shocking after what you witnessed today.”
“What little surprise?” She raises an eyebrow, but the sly smile on her lips tells me she’s excited.
“I realized after the time we’ve spent together that I don’t want to be apart.” I make a left and in the distance is my house. “I’ve been waiting on you my whole life, Sugar.”
“I feel the same way,” she says softly, looking down at her lap.
“Good.” I pull in the driveway and park the car. When I go around to her side she jumps out into my arms and I hold onto her as I carry her inside. “So what’s the surprise?”
I put her down on her feet when we go into the living room and I spin her around so she can see.
“Hank?” She looks back over her shoulder up at me and then back to the pile of boxes in front of her.
“It’s amazing what you can get done in a few hours with enough money.” I take her hand and lead her over to them as I pull the lid off one and show her the contents.
“Is this all of it?” Her eyes are wide as she takes it all in.
“Yep. The movers got everything out and brought it over. Your clothes are in our bedroom, but this stuff I thought you might want to spread around all over the house.”
“You want me to move in with you?” Her face is unreadable as she looks around the room and I shake my head.
“No.”
“Okay, now I’m confused.” Her eyebrows pull together as I take her hand and pull her out onto the back patio.
The entire backyard is filled with flowers on every single surface. The arbor is dripping in wisteria and there are butterflies all around us.
“I don’t want you to just move in, Sugar.” I reach into my pocket and pull out the small velvet box as I get down on one knee. “I know this might feel sudden, but I’m following my heart and not a clock. I’ve never been in love before, but the day I saw you it happened.”
“Hank,” she gasps when I open the box and reveal the ring to her.
“You woke up my soul the day you walked into my life and I don’t want to live another day without you by my side. You’re my forever, Sugar. I love you so much. Marry me.”
Tears fall down her cheeks as she smiles at me. “That’s not a question.”
“I know,” I say, slipping the ring on her finger, “I’m not giving you an easy out on this. I know that loving me may take you some time—”
“I love you,” she blurts out, interrupting me. “I know you didn’t technically ask, but my answer would have been yes.”
“Say it again,” I say, looking into her eyes.
“I love you, Hank. I worried that I might end up like my mother because she was constantly falling in and out of love with men. But I know if she ever felt this she would have held on to it for dear life.”
I stand up and cup her cheek as I wipe her tears away. “Maybe she was looking for this the whole time.”
She nods as she leans into my hand. “I can’t imagine a life without you, and I don’t want to try.”
“You’ll never have to.”
I pull her against me and pick her up to carry her over to the outdoor sunbed. She commented this weekend that she can’t wait for it to be warm enough for her to lie out here and tan. Today is beautiful with the first hint of summer approaching and the flowers are blooming all around us. Thoughts of her lotioning her skin while in a tiny bikini have my cock throbbing.
“I need you,” I say against her neck as I push her dress up.
“Take it, Hank.” She reaches down and pulls her panties over for me just as my cock springs free.
I sink into her and the warm welcoming heat of her pussy squeezes my thick length. We both groan as once again we’re connected in every way possible and all is right in the world.
“We’re going to have lots and lots of babies,” I say while I slowly rock in and out of her. “I want to fill this house up.”
