But I let go. At least enough that when we started dancing, I could actually follow along. And honestly, I was having a ball. I spun in Landon’s arms, twirling into Caleb’s before Landon would steal me back. It was competitive, but it was also fun as hell.

Eventually, the song changed, and something slow and sensual came on. We paused, the both of them looking down into my eyes as my gaze darted between them.

“Who… I mean…” I bit my lip. “How does this work?”

“Like this,” Landon purred.

I gasped as he spun me, pulling me back into his body, his hands sliding down to hold my hips as he started to sway us both to the music. Caleb moved in to my front, a wicked glint in his sharp blue eyes as his hand skimmed my waist. He pulled close, and the both of them started to sway together, slowly and gently grinding me between them.

My head spun, heart pounding as time seemed to slow down. Caleb leaned in first, and before I knew it, he was kissing me, right there in that little dive bar as the country music crooned out of the juke box. I could feel the power in that kiss, and when he groaned and pushed into me, I could feel how hard he was. I whimpered, kissing him back, losing myself before slowly, he pulled away.

I turned, and as Landon gently but firmly cupped my jaw and leaned in, I totally let go. Landon’s kiss was slow and deep—a kiss that bruised across my lips and sent tingles down through my toes and through my core. I could feel his cock swell against my ass, and I panted into his mouth before he pulled back.

I was still swimming in the heat of it all, both men moving to kiss my neck and make me gasp, when I turned.

…My eyes went wide.

“Fuck…” I pulled away, my whole face growing hot.

We’d been seen, and not just by dive-bar strangers. I turned back, hoping to God I’d been wrong. But when I did and when I locked eyes with her, I knew I’d been right.

Because sitting at a bar table staring at me, Caleb, and Landon with a knowing grin on her face, was Stella. Stella, who also lived on Blackthorn, on a further out, more remote ridge of the mountain with her two men—Dallas and Austin. Two twin brothers, at that they were there too, also at the table, also grinning knowingly as they glanced our way.

I remembered being scandalized when I’d first been introduced to Stella after moving here. I’d felt this electric buzz meeting her, knowing that she was in this permeant trio relationship with two gorgeous rough mountain guys who adored her.

Now? Well, now I guess I was her.

But in the literal right now, I’d just been caught kissing two men by someone I knew, and circumstances or not, my mind’s first response was embarrassment, like I’d been caught doing something naughty. The heat exploded through my face as I jumped away from both Landon and Caleb.

Landon turned, a concerned look on his face as he stepped towards me.

“You okay, angel?” he growled.

“Yeah, I just…”

“Looks like we weren’t the only ones looking for a drink tonight.”

Landon and Caleb turned, both looking like they were on edge for a second before they recognized the speaker. I blushed, looking past them to see that Stella, Austin, and Dallas had come over our way.

The three of them were gorgeous—Stella with her crazy long legs and fiery red hair, and the twins with dark hair, greenish-brown eyes, chiseled, handsome jaws, and built like all-American football players.

Austin grinned, eyeing all three of us, like he knew, but just wasn’t going to say anything. I could feel my face burning hot as I managed a weak smile.

“Yeah, they… uh, Caleb and Landon, they were in here, and when I came in, we, uh… yeah. Good music.”

I cringed so hard, looking at my feet at my atrociously bad attempt at rationalizing why they’d seen my totally making out with both tattooed guys. And then on top of that, I cringed at myself for feeling like I had to come up with an excuse—that I had to half lie in order to make what they’d seen okay.

These were three people who lived in a permeant trio relationship, and I was embarrassed to have them see me with my two guys? What the hell was I going to do about everyone else in my life?

I looked up, and suddenly, Stella caught my eye and held it.

“Hey, we were about to get another round,” Dallas nodded, that Texas twang light in his voice as he lifted an empty beer bottle. “You guys want anything?

Landon shrugged, seemingly not at all concerned about what they’d just seen. I envied that confidence.
