Her Double Mountain Outlaws

I opened my eyes, growling for a second as my hand slid to hers, tugging her back. Kennedy turned, moonlight glowing over her face as she grinned, her eyes flashing over me.
“Sneaking off?”
She shook her head.
“Hell no,” she whispered. “Just need some water.”
“I’ll grab it for you.”
She smiled. “My hero. But no, stay. I’ll be right back.”
She leaned down, kissing me softly before rolling and kissing Caleb’s sleeping cheek. She slid from the bed, snagging a button-up plaid shirt of mine from the back of the chair in the room, slipping it on her shoulders as she padded out of my bedroom.
I glanced over at Caleb’s sleeping form, on the far side of the king-sized bed, and chuckled as I heard him snore. No, it’s not like he and I were in the habit of sharing a room—definitely not a bed. But with Kennedy? Well, I could see the three of us crashing in either his room or mine being a much more regular thing. I was going to have to buy earplugs if his snoring ass kept it up though.
I sighed as I sat back in the bed.
Fuck, the night had been amazing. The sex, yes, but it was everything that came with it. Sharing her like that, and then dancing, and seeing the recognition from people we knew? I guess it kind of sank home that this was real. This wasn’t something passing, this was here to stay.
After the tattoo, and the both of us claiming her together like that, we’d managed to tumble our way up here. Caleb and I had dragged her to our shower, our fingers and mouths making her scream for more as we suds her up and massaged her aching muscles under the water. I’d put a fresh wrap on her new ink, we’d brought her back to my room, and the two of us had devoured her with our mouths until I swear she’d passed out for a sec.
And after that, when she’d been moaning between us—on her knees rocking back to take Caleb deep in her ass while she swallowed my cock? Well, needless to say, there’d been another shower necessary after we’d made her come three more times.
I listened to the sound of the water turning on out in the kitchen of our big open-area of the loft. I grinned, imagining Kennedy out there nude except for one of my shirts. Heat throbbed through me, and I felt my cock begin to swell.
Fuck, I could not get enough of her.
I glanced at Caleb and debated waking him up but shook my head.
Nah. Too bad for him if he was sleeping. And besides, I had too many thoughts of bending Kennedy over the kitchen sink, lifting that shirt, and just slowly easing my cock inside of that tempting, hot little cunt to care much about waiting for Caleb.
I slid from the bed and stretched my muscles. And I was just about head out and go find the woman who drove me wild, when I heard her talking.
…To me, seemingly.
I froze.
“What, you need some water too?”
I paused, frowning in the darkness. The door to my room was half closed. Kennedy couldn’t see me, and there’s no way in hell she’d heard me stand from the bed.
“Landon?” There was something odd in her voice.
“Hey, quit being creepy and say something. I can barely see you lurking around the shadows like—”
I bolted even before I heard her scream.
Blood thundered through me, and I barreled out of my bedroom with a roar, buck naked and running full tilt towards the shadowy figure advancing on Kennedy in the darkness. The man half turned at the sound of me, and I saw the gun being drawn in slow motion, but it was already way too late for that.
He grunted as I slammed into him like a fucking mac truck hitting what’s about to be road-kill, the full force of my run sending him crashing to the ground and then sliding across the floor. I snarled, shoving his gun away and then pounding my fist into his face. He cried out, flailing with his arms and trying to pull away from me somehow.
…But he’d just fucked with the wrong man.
He’d just come looking for trouble in the last fucking place he should’ve been looking for it. Because suddenly, all that rage I’d kept locked up inside all of those years, and all the pain of the fighting rings I used to exist in, came rushing back. The world tuned out, and all I saw was blackness and red mist as I hit him again and again and again, until I was barely aware of both Kennedy and Caleb dragging me off of him.
“Landon!”
Caleb roared in my face, shaking me. I tried to fight him off, my eyes blazing fire as they looked past my friend to the huddled, still shape of the man who’d broken in.
