Spun (Kings of Chaos 1)

“The only thing you’ve ever been good for is a quick fuck, suck, or service, or a more menial task. He’s got my mouth and my pussy now. So, the only thing you can do for him is get his drinks and food.” I’m pushing things with my proclamation, but I have a feeling Wizard won’t mind the claim laying. I turn my attention to Wizard. “Are you hungry, babe?”
“I could eat.”
“What would you like?” I ask.
“Cheese burger, fries, and a beer.”
“Did you hear that, Trixie? You can get him a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer. Matter of fact,” I lean forward over Wizard and hold up two fingers, “make it two.”
Her face is beat red and her muscles look tense.
I want her to come at me. It’d be grounds for dismissal. You don’t disrespect an old lady, let alone attack them.
“You heard her, Trixie,” Wizard says.
I give her a sweet smile.
She spins on her heel with a loud huff, and tosses her hair over her shoulders.
“Nice to know you got claws and a mouth on you.”
“I wouldn’t be Chaos if I didn’t.”
He shrugs. “I wondered. You’ve always been so quiet.”
“Because I know how to keep my nose out of business that isn’t mine. I know the rules and I abide by them. I’ve seen too many women get fucked up for not doing that.”
“Smart. That’s why you’re mine.” He grips a handful of my hair and pulls me to him. I lose myself in the texture and taste I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of. The secret is out. We’re official and the law has been laid. I’ve never been this happy. I have a solid place in Chaos now. It’s the first time I feel like I fully belong anywhere.
I’m numb as I stumble into the house. Shit went sideways with the gun trading. It happens. Especially when they send someone green to make the trade. Now, I have to wonder if it was a veiled insult, or an underhanded way to cause drama between us. I’d already been a foul mood, because it was last minute and ruined what should’ve been my first night with Nevada. For whatever the reason, three bodies are being disposed of, two of my men are laid up, and blood splatters are on my jeans, vest, and I’m sure, my shoes. The guns were never bartered, and now our dealings with the Wreckers is tenuous. I’ll be in meetings up to m
y neck tomorrow. But at this time, I’m home to dispose of evidence and lick my wounds.
“Wizard?” Nevada walks out of the living room with a blanket around her shoulders.
I know she’s been waiting up for me on the couch. The small shit she does makes me smile. It changes a man, knowing he has someone waiting back at home for him to return.
“Bad night, Nev.”
Her eyes grow wide and she scans me. “What do you need?”
“Bag everything but my cut and boots. I’ll clean those off while you start the burn pit. I suddenly feel like Smores.”
She nods her head.
Right now is business. Once we’re done, I want to lose myself in her. I strip down.
Her eyes are hungry as they take in my form.
“After we settle this, Nev, the only thing I want is you. We’ve been dancing around our attraction. That ends tonight.”
She swallows and her eyes widen.
“Are you scared of me?”
“No, I’m nervous.” Her voice is low and shaky.
I frown. “Why?”
