Wicked (Diamondback MC 7)

It took me all day to come to terms with the fact it’s time for us to keep the past where it belongs—in the past. Yes it sucked. No, we won’t let anyone tear us apart again. It’s time we lived our best life and see where the future takes us, even if that does mean it can be scary at times.
“How you doin’, butterfly?” I have no idea what time it is, how long we’ve been riding, or anything really.
“Perfect.” This time, I don’t scream in his ear. The feeling of being free from any worries, school, and work surrounds me.
“Good.” Bennett moves his hand to my leg, rubbing it up and down for a few minutes before returning it to the handlebar. My arms that were wrapped around his stomach so tightly, afraid to let go and hung on for dear life, hold loosely on to his sides now.
“Where are we going?” I’m ashamed to say I’ve lived in the same town for nearly three years now and haven’t really ventured out too much. The lack of a car didn’t help matters much. Really, it was the not wanting to spend any extra money I put away and working as much as I could between school hours.
“Almost there, then you’ll see,” Bennett replies, leaving me in the dark. We’re traveling down a two-lane road, trees on each side, and you can see patches of water between the tree line.
“Way to evade the question,” I grumble under my breath, the mirror showing me that Bennett heard it. I add that to my never-ending list of things to remember about him. He’s silent as a mouse, clearly knows how to dig for any information he can find seeing how I didn’t once have to tell him where I live or where my school is, and now supersonic hearing. At this point, the list will be bottomless, keeping me on my toes constantly.
Bennett takes a slight turn off the highway, a dirt road greeting us through even more trees and overgrowth of all types of plants. If someone wanted to dump a body, this would definitely be the place, I think to myself. There’s not a single house out here. The last time we saw another vehicle or person was when we stopped for gas awhile back.
“Home sweet home,” Bennett says as we pull up in front of an old cottage. It seems to be beautifully restored from the outside, with brick on the bottom, wood siding, green shutters, and a red door. I bet this place was built back in the 1800s.
“Wow,” I breathe out, waiting patiently until Bennett gives me the okay to slide off my seat.
“Rage told me about the place. It’s not too far from the Inn yet far enough away from anything and everything.” He nods his head, giving me the okay.
“It’s spectacular.” Big oaks surrounds the place, and moss hangs from the limbs, giving it an enchanted feel. Bennett doesn’t respond, so I spin around and check to see if he’s busy or taking in the beauty around us. He’s not though. He’s staring right at me, hands on his hips, and a grin I haven’t seen in far too long on his face.
“Thinkin’ I’m lookin’ at something way more spectacular, butterfly,” is his response.
“On that we can agree. You are one handsome man, Bennett.” That’s all I get out, because I’m being picked up by the back of my thighs, my legs wrap around his waist, and I’m giggling between kisses as Bennett walks us towards the front door.

SHADOW
I barely get us inside the cabin. Shila’s hands are all over me, attempting to pull my shirt up, lips locked on mine the entire time.
“Bennett.” My name leaves her in a breathless tone. My cock is notched between her legs, letting her grind down on me, hating the fuckin’ jeans we’re both wearing.
“Shila. Fuck, butterfly.” Her back meets the wall. I rip my shirt off while holding her in place with my hips.
“Hurry, it’s been so long.” I help her take off the buttoned-up flannel, nearly ripping the buttons off to get my hands on her smooth skin.
“Yeah? How long?” The words leave my lips even though I have no right to ask about her sex life since we were torn away from one another. My lips move to her neck. Her breathing intensifies as I lick the slope of her neck, working my way down until I’m right above the edge of her red laced bra.
“It’s only been you, Bennett.” Her hands slide down the length of my chest, towards the button of my jeans.
“Son of a bitch.” Shila clams up beneath me.
“Um, I’m sorry. I didn’t expect you to reciprocate that or anything. It’s just that it never happened, you know.” She drops her hands away from my body.
