Built For Me (Middleton Hotels 1)

“Hey, I understand. I want Rachael, but she works for us.” I looked at my staid older brother completely surprised by the admission. He wasn’t the kind of guy to show his feelings for people and I never saw him with a girl. And since he worked like eighty hours a week, I didn’t think he cared for a woman in his life.
“Oh shit! I essentially fired Harley today. So, fire her ass, then marry her.”
“That’s easy for you to say, that girl likes you. Rachael told a couple of employees that she wouldn’t mind if I tossed myself off a building,” Joe complained. I saw the hurt in his eyes and even playful Jules seemed to be solemn with that.
“Wow. What the fuck did you do to her?” I asked.
“Nothing that I know of.” Joe shrugged with this hands out in confusion. Other than being driven by work, I can’t imagine Joe being mean to anyone but us brothers.
“Sorry, Joe. But if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to Harley. I plan to spend the entire day with her. Tomorrow, we can hang out together and explore the properties and the builds, but I need time with her. It’s been hell to be without her for three months. I even had cameras installed in this place, but the thought of seeing her made me want to run here.”
“What about her parents?” Julian asked.
“She doesn’t have parents. She has a grandmother that she cares for, but she’s currently in a nursing home. And I plan to meet her before I take Harley back to Texas.”
Joe gave me a look as I walked to the door. “Good luck, bro. You’re going to have to tell mom and dad, though.”
“I’m telling you, bro. Run to Vegas if you can,” Julian joked.
“I’ll check with Harley, but if so, are you guys coming?”
“Fuck yeah. I could use a trip to Vegas,” Julian cheered, nodding his head in appreciation of the idea.
I walked out of the room, not waiting for these fuckers. There was still too much shit to do. Like kissing the fuck out of Harley before I dropped to my knees and ate her pussy until she was creaming. My cock was aching and I adjusted it as I walked down the hall. I got to the main lobby and there was Rachael. I didn’t want to argue with Joe, so I didn’t tell him that she was going to take over for Harley. He was going to freak when he saw her here.
Harley was talking to Rachael, who came into town yesterday, having set up her temporary apartment. They were hitting it off. Rachael gave her a hug. “Hello, ladies,” I said, walking up to Harley and wrapping my arm around her.
“Hello, Jacob,” Rachael replied with a smile that slowly faded as my brothers’ footsteps got closer. “What is he doing here?”
“It’s not your concern, Ms. Harrison,” Joe bit out. “Jake, we’re going to look around the place and see what’s going on and meet with the construction crew. Let us know if you need anything.” He looked back at Rachael. “And Ms. Harrison, book Julian and I two rooms.”
“Yes, sir,” she bit off, raising her chin. I felt the tension and I wondered what he did to her. Joe wasn’t a player at all and he was a big stick in the mud. As the oldest he was the one to stay strong and keep us in line. A bossy fuck, but a great brother and human being. I didn’t know what was up her ass.
I looked at Harley and asked, “Are you ready, sweetheart?”
“I guess.” She nervously looked down at the ground. I had my hulking brothers, Tony, and Rachael standing around. I grabbed her bag, slipping it over my shoulder and intertwined our fingers.
“I’ll see you all tomorrow.” It was only nine in the morning, but I wanted our time alone.
I walked her to my car and helped her in. I didn’t have a plan for us, but I asked, “Did you have any plans today?”
“No,” she said. “Just to work.”
“Well then, what’s there to do in this town?” I asked. I looked up the things to do and there wasn’t much. Of course, there would be a hell of a lot more to do in the next year or two. One hotel site was going to have an indoor waterpark attached to it, which will attract a lot of visitors in the winter time.
“Not much. There’s a park and an ice cream parlor. That’s why they are building a theme park in the next town over,” she said, rolling her eyes at me.
“Okay, smart ass. Take me to your place, and we can have a whole afternoon and night of fun,” I replied, rakishly wagging my brows at her with a slight nod.
“Um…my house is small.”
“So,” I said with a shrug as I drove out of the hotel parking lot. She gave me the address, which I didn’t need, but I wanted her approval before going. I just said I planned to fuck her, so it was her chance to tell me to go fuck off but she didn’t. My cock hoped to fucking hell that she wouldn’t stop me later. It had been three long and hard months. Hell, it had been twenty-four years of no action, but I never wanted a woman to the point of pure pain. Women didn’t fit in with my plans. My father told us boys that we should never let the company suffer for a woman. A good woman would enrich your life, and until the right one comes along, the rest weren't worth the risk of losing what we had built from the ground up. He was right. If I couldn’t picture a future with a woman, I moved along. Harley was different. I saw everything I could have with her by my side. I craved her to the point of insanity. Every time I thought of her I was hard, and I couldn’t stroke during the work day, so I found myself leaving on time and beating off like it was fucking competition and I wanted to win first place.
Her house was about a mile from where we were. She was right. It was a tiny little one-level ranch. It looked like it hadn’t seen an upgrade since the place was built. I didn’t know what she wanted to do with this place since we were moving to Texas very soon, but if she wanted to remodel and keep it, that was up to her. It could be our small vacation home or something like that.
She rushed to the door to unlock it and I followed quickly behind her. “This is my home,” she said with an anxious grin. When I stepped inside, I was surprised about how bright it was in there. The walls were stark white and sun was beaming through the gauzy curtains. The furniture was a very soft grey and sparse.
“Have you lived here your whole life?” I asked, looking around the room.
