The Favor

And, worse yet, I’d lose the Karl Devon movie.

But, if it works. My body alights with a fire just thinking about if I can pull this off. If the playboy of Hollywood can work me just right to multiple o’s all night long. And I just know he can deliver.

I just know he’d like it dirty.

Ugh, I sound like a hussie. All I have are distant memories of lackluster sex.

Lots of lackluster sex.

I want to have the kind of sex you only read about in romance novels. That headboard bashing, girl screaming from the rafters type of sex. The kind that makes you feel sexy, devoured, and cherished all in the same breath.

That’s what I want. And I want Emmett Garfield to deliver it.

Without knowing he’s delivering it to me.

Is that so hard?

“We’ll help. We’re in.” Both the boys say with a wink.

They laugh, then waggle their brows at me, and I dismiss myself to check my phone. There’s a text from Emmett, “Wear that red dress tomorrow night.”

I don’t know why this one simple text makes me all giddy, but it does. Just knowing that Emmett is thinking about what I'll be wearing tomorrow night is hot. Even if he is just trying to get me to land a movie deal.

Maybe he found out more about the deal. The red dress isn’t the sexiest dress I own, but it does present me in a more serious, sophisticated manner.

“Warren will you put the thought in his ear?”

Warren smiles, a devil-type of smile, one that means he’s up to no good. One that means he’s one-hundred percent on board.

This is gonna be so hot.

Emmett

Let me just say one thing before we head on any further. I will not sleep with my sexy as fuck client. I just won’t do it.

Even though she’s wearing the exact red dress I asked her to. Now, I’m sure this temptress has a million red dresses, but she knew which one I wanted to see her in. It’s like she has a direct link to my dick, and knows exactly what he wants.

But, this dress is special. And she knows it. It’s the exact dress she wore when I plucked her from nothing and brought her up to fame. It was a quick journey for someone as talented as her. But, it was the dress that did it for me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, she’s gorgeous. But, the dress shows off every curve I know damn well she has.

I’ve seen her in her Seraphina outfit, and let me just say that image has supplied many of my fantasies for the past several months.

But this one, with Abby in the red dress. The dress she wore when she wasn’t famous. Before she was the Abby Carmichal, and was just Abby. This is the one that does it for me.

But, then again she was never just Abby to me.

I eye her from across the lobby of the swanky Lancaster Room. She gives me her best shy girl smile and it drives me fucking insane.

It’s her real smile. Not her Hollywood, posing for the paparazzi smile.

Does she even know how perfect she is? She has to, I mean she’s a famous movie star, and I know many men would be intimidated by her power, but I just find it sexy.

I raise my drink, calling her over and then I scan the room for the very tall, bald-headed Karl Devon. He’s hard to miss, and thanks to Warren’s top secret info, we should be early. I want to get a lay of the land. To feel the place out and figure a way to get my girl, I mean, my client in front of him.

It has to be super smooth. But, that’s just how I operate.

I lift my drink to my lips, slowly. “Nice dress.”

She runs her hands over it. “This ol’ thing.”

I move her quickly to a side table near the back, a table that will let me see every vantage point of the bar. “Drink?” I ask her.

“Diet cola.”

Smart, no alcohol. Like I said, this girl thinks about her career first and everything else comes second. That’s what makes her so goddamn good.

As the waitress passes, I order Abby’s drink and sit back, scanning the club once more.

“So, what are we doing exactly?”

I smile. “We’re acting like this is a normal night out for us. We’re going to just accidentally bump into Karl Devon. And once we do, I’ll do all the talking. Got it?”

She snaps her mouth shut and nods.

The waitress drops off her drink and I throw some bills onto her tray. “And then after we meet Karl Devon, you’re going to let me buy you dinner.”

She stares at me like she has something more to say. Like the idea of dinner fascinates her and maybe she wants dessert too. There’s a sparkle in her soft brown eyes. It makes me have to turn away or else I just might kiss her.
