I offered him a scowl. Only pathetic, weak men waited on others. Someone should confiscate his penis. “Bring me a black coffee and then fuck off.”

The pitiful excuse of a man blinked and walked to the coffee station.

Jeni’s gaze caught mine, and I watched as her warm brown eyes drank me in.

That’s right, my little treasure. This is what I look like in the light. I was the real fucking deal. Pure male.

The handful of patrons inside the establishment took notice too, straightening their backs.

Yes, motherfuckers, the big bad wolf is here. And he wants to kill, fuck, and rule over all you little bunny cunts.

The patrons looked away. Not Jeni, though. Jeni’s mouth dropped open.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d think it was an invitation.

My cock stirred with heat. Soon. Not to worry. Soon.

I walked over and slid across from her into the booth. Her soft eyes reminded me of a sad song. Beautiful, but tormented. Her small frame with large breasts was like a river flowing with curves. And soon to be wet. Her long brown hair was like her heart, all knotted up, holding back her true wild self. But those lips. Those fucking lips. Clearly they were meant for sucking cock. My cock.

“What the hell?” Jeni gasped.

“You heard that, huh?” I flashed a wicked smile. What can I say, little treasure? I am a man who knows what he wants, and you have a set of lips meant for more than smiling.

“I didn’t hear it. I saw the image in your head.” She leaned in and hissed, “What the hell is the matter with you?”

“Everything.” I continued smiling. “Now tell me what you want, my little treasure. You have two minutes.” I leaned back in the booth.

Jeni reached for her coffee. “Don’t play games, Ansin. You didn’t drive three hours to give me two minutes.” She put the mug to her mouth, and I watched in fascination as her lips touched the rim and then puckered ever so slightly as she drank.

Mmmm… “Fair enough. I’ll give you five.” Long enough to watch her finish her coffee. “But then I have a red-eye to catch and a king to kill.”

The waiter appeared with shaking hands and my coffee and then promptly fucked off as instructed. I took a sip of the piping hot liquid and felt immediately tempted to murder whoever had brewed this shit-flavored broth. How hard was it to make a decent cup of coffee in this day and age? They had every brewing contraption known to man.

I slid my mug aside, and when I looked up, Jeni’s eyes were flickering with hate. I kinda loved it.

“What?” I said.

“You’re not going to kill King,” she said.

“I’m not?” News to fucking me.

“No. Because you made an offer to spare him.”

“Indeed I did, little treasure. Unfortunately, what you asked for over the phone was something different. My original offer was to spare King, and sparing a man from your sword is vastly different than pledging your sword to save him.”

“Stop calling me little treasure. And I’m asking you to let him live. The outcome is the same.”

But the task wasn’t, and Jeni knew that. “Everything has a price, little treasure. So if I save him, what do I get in return?”

“As I mentioned on the phone, I’ll tell you what the Seers are planning.”

“Wrong. The deal was you’d tell me their plans in exchange for coming here to listen to you.” Was she testing me?

She leaned back and folded her arms over her chest, the swells of her full breasts momentarily distracting me.

“I’m renegotiating,” she said. “My information in exchange for you helping King.”

“Forgo killing King just for the hope you might give me something useful?” I shook my head and chuckled.

“To live is to risk.”

She wanted a quote war, did she? “To react is for fools. To act is for victors.”

“Shit or get off the pot.” She narrowed her eyes.

I liked this girl. She didn’t back down from what she wanted. “All right, I’ll modify my original offer. I will save King if you become my wife and the mother of my children. You will also share what you know about the Seers’ plans. But I have one additional stipulation: You must be obedient.” I hoped she would say no. The mother of my children needed to be a fighter.

“Fuck you. I will never be obedient.”

I think I just came in my leather pants. “We’ll see,” I said, knowing she was perfect. “So now that we’ve agreed, tell me what happened to King.”

She looked out the plate-glass window, and her grip tightened around her coffee cup.

I waited, thoroughly intrigued.

“I-I…” Jeni’s eyes began to water.

“Clock is ticking, Jeni.”

“I saw King’s body on a bed. He was cut open, his chest completely hollowed and his organs removed. Around the room, there were jars containing everything they’d ripped out. Heart. Lungs. Liver.” She began to sob. “But there were so many jars. More than any human body could possibly contain. I think they’re letting him come back to life in a new body and harvesting his organs all over again.” She covered her face. “So much blood. I can’t get the image out of my head.”
