She hadn’t unfurled from the couch. She was paralyzed with shock. Her spine tingled with anticipation. “When does it start?” she asked.
“Is that a yes?” Wyatt asked.
Jason elbowed him in the side. “I think it is. Let her talk.”
Kayla nodded. “Yes. God yes.”
She rested her cocktail on the table and hopped from the couch.
Jason folded his arms around her first. She looked into his eyes as his mouth crashed down on hers. He kissed her, holding her up. Wyatt waited for their moment to pass before he walked to her. She turned to him, throwing her arms around his neck. Her body aligned with Wyatt’s as she leaned into his solid chest, welcoming his lips and my tongue.
Jason laughed. “I think we should take this party back to the penthouse.”
Kayla looked in his eyes. “Are we doing this tonight?”
Wyatt smiled at her, brushing her hair from her face. “I think we all know it’s going to take you a little time to adjust. But there are a lot of things we can do.”
She nodded. “I don’t want to disappoint you.” She looked at Jason. “Either of you.”
“You can’t, love. The longer we have to wait for that sweet little ass of yours, the better it’s going to be when we finally get it.”
Her eyes widened. “Oh God.” She went limp in Wyatt’s arms.
Wyatt squeezed her bottom. “Fuck, Kayla. I want your ass now. There’s no way it could ever disappoint me. You could never do that. We’ll make sure you love it. We’ll worship you, baby. All of you. From your head to your toes to that perfect pussy of yours in the middle. We’ll make you feel better than you’ve ever felt. You have us both. All the things we can do to your body. Even things you’ve never thought possible.”
She breathed deeply. “I liked everything you did. All of it,” she whispered. “I thought I waited too long tonight. I thought the offer was gone.” The sadness enveloped her again.
“Hey, we would never let you slip away from us. Never,” Wyatt reassured her. “I think we would have been willing to extend it even longer if you needed.”
“Really?” she searched his eyes.
Jason chuckled. “You don’t know how rare you are. How precious you are to us already. We would have given you ten different offers before we would have walked away.”
“What if I’m not any good at this? What if I can’t be your girlfriend and yours? I don’t know how to be there for both of you—it’s all so surreal. And that’s on top of the sex, which I haven’t exactly wrapped my mind around how that even works.”
“It takes time. And we’re in this together. We talk about things. We communicate, love. You have to tell us what you need. And we do the same. You’ll see.”
There was a question she had been stewing over, but she was afraid to ask. She had to get it out there before this commitment began. She couldn’t enter into something like this. Make herself so completely vulnerable. Give her body in a way she had never considered without knowing if this was going to be safe. She had to be respected. No one had put her first before—if she didn’t, she wasn’t sure anyone would.
“I’m not sleeping with anyone else,” she sputtered. “Are you?”
Jason’s eyes widened. Wyatt choked.
“Well, are you?” she pressed.
“Kayla, we take this seriously. There are no other women. There will be no other women. Only you,” Wyatt growled.
“The three of us agree right here. Right now. There’s no one else.” Jason lost his jovial tone.
Kayla inhaled sharply. It was what she wanted. The promise she needed to hear. “No one else,” she whispered.
“No one,” Wyatt echoed.
“This is happening?” Kayla looked between then.
“It’s happening.” Wyatt tucked a protective hand around her waist.
Jason put his arm around her shoulder. “Let’s get you home. We have a lot to show you.”
