It was no secret that Kayla Dauer was the “it” girl in marketing. She had job offers pouring in every day from around the world. But nothing could ever entice her to walk away from MWG. And especially not now.
It made sense she had forgotten to take her birth control a few times. And then eventually, she stopped taking it altogether. It wasn’t intentional. It seemed to be a by-product of her life with Wyatt and Jason.
The move to the penthouse changed her routine. She no longer slept alone. She didn’t wake up alone. And there was never a day that passed that she wasn’t completely sexually satisfied. It made sense that eventually so much sex was going to lead to this moment.
“You two seem awfully preoccupied,” she mused. She didn’t know what the best way was to break the news.
“I’ve got two chapters left in my book, love,” Jason flipped a page with his finger. “Hoping Wyatt makes breakfast soon.”
“Do you have any idea what thirty-two down is that starts with B and is four letters?” Wyatt held the paper in front of her. “I could use some help before I head to the kitchen.”
She knew this was her opening. This was the chance she needed.
She took the pencil from his other hand. “Can I fill it in?”
“Go for it.”
She wrote in clear print letters: B-A-B-Y and handed the crossword to Wyatt. “You might want to show thirty-two down to Jason.”
Wyatt stared at the puzzle for a second. “But that’s not—that’s not the…Shit.” He looked at her and threw the paper across her and into Jason’s lap.
She bit her lip and waited for Jason to read it.
“What is it with this puzzle?” He picked up the paper. “Thirty-two down…ok…What the fuck?”
He turned to face Kayla. She reached her hand under the pillow and retrieved the pregnancy test.
“Surprise.” She held it forward.
“You’re pregnant?”
“Baby? We’re going to have a baby?”
She nodded.
Jason crushed her with a hug before handing her over to Wyatt. His lips met hers. “This is the best fucking news.”
“I’m freaking out,” Kayla admitted. “I knew I was over a week late and this morning I had to try the test. I didn’t want to say anything until I knew for sure.” She looked at them. “You’re both excited?”
“Hell yeah.” Jason’s grin couldn’t be bigger. “You are carrying our child.”
Wyatt’s hand cupped her belly. Jason’s hands moved to her breasts.
“Ohh,” she moaned. “That’s…that feels good.”
Kayla had known for a couple of weeks, or at least suspected. At times a quick wave of nausea would hit her during a meeting, or she would want to eat something she’d never liked before like Brussel sprouts. But her nipples had been extra sensitive and her orgasms had started spiraling out of control. She put all of it together and knew it was the only answer.
She wanted to wait and tell Jason and Wyatt though when she had a confirmed test to show them.
“You like it when I rub your nipples like that?” Jason asked.
“It feels so good,” she mewed. “Even better than before.”
“What about your pussy?” Wyatt waggled his eyebrows. He ducked his head under the sheet and immediately moved himself between her legs. “I want to taste your honey like this. Open your legs, baby.”
“Oh, Wyatt.” Her hands fisted through his hair as her legs fell to the side and his tongue lashed at her clit.
He moved to her stomach, kissing her belly. “Brother, our baby is in here.”
