I flip her, pinning her to the bed to drive into her harder. She keeps coming as I thrust deeper into her. It’s not long before I spill a load of cum into her needy pussy. Her pussy keeps fluttering around me as I give a few more shallow thrusts, making sure I get every last drop inside her before I collapse on top of her.

She lets out an adorable little sigh, her fingers drifting up and down my back. I nip at her neck, making her giggle. Damn, do I enjoy every little sound that comes from her. I savor all of them. It’s been almost two weeks since I almost lost her.

“Love you.” I lift my head from her neck to kiss my woman good morning.

“Love you too,” she says back between kisses. “You slept good. I wore you out.” She smirks.

“Something like that.” We crashed at the clubhouse last night.

Normally I prefer the penthouse because I know no one is going to come knocking on my door, but whatever gets Savannah and Ollie planning this wedding faster I’m okay with.

“No dreams?” She runs her fingers through my short hair.

“Nah.” I lean down and take her mouth again.

I know a lot of my fellow Marines had nightmares when they returned from tour. I’ve been lucky and never had to deal with any of that shit. Jason always joked that there is a darkness inside of me. That shit doesn’t get to me. He wasn’t wrong. It’s always been easy for me to flip my emotions off and not give a shit.

It was easy. Until Savannah came along and blew all that to shit. There’s no way I’m having nightmares about putting a bullet into William fucking Tate. That's a damn fantasy, if you ask me. Not that I’d ever say that shit out loud. Especially to my sweet fiancée. What I am having nightmares about was someone having a damn gun pressed into my girl’s back.

Luck was on my side that day. I’d gotten ahold of Nick by mere seconds. He’d made sure I got my clear shot, getting the hell out of the way. Thank God William was the only one that got hurt that day. That shit would have eaten at Savannah if someone else had. It’s eating at her thinking I’m having nightmares about shooting someone. I love my girl too much to tell her William was far from the first man I’ve shot in my life.

“I need up, big guy.” She wiggles under me, making my cock jerk inside of her.

“That’s not going to have me moving any faster.” I pull out and thrust back inside of her.

“Archer,” she moans. “We have plans with your parents. I promised your mom.” I grunt, rolling off her and onto my back.

“Can we not talk about my mom when my dick is inside your pussy?”

“Archer.” She smacks my chest before bouncing up from the bed. I watch her walk across the room in all her naked glory to find something to put on. “What should I wear?” She shuffles through the closet. “I want them to like me.”

“They already like you more than me.” My eyes never leave her as I watch her little ass get dressed.

My mom ended up showing up at the police station. She was all over Savannah. I wasn’t too shocked by that. Mom always tries her best, but it’s my father that tends to fuck everything up. Him and his control issues.

I’m not sure what’s changed, but he wants not only me back in his life but for Savannah to be a part of it too. So far, he hasn’t tried to sink his nails into me unless you count calling in his favor, which is brunch every other Sunday. This is supposed to be our first one, which Savannah is excited about. I didn’t miss that she enjoyed the attention my mom gave her. As long as they are good to her, that’s all I care about. I would sit for a meal with the devil himself if it meant my girl was happy.

“Are you sure your dad likes me?” she asks. I sit up on the side of the bed. “He had to do a lot because of me.” Her teeth sink into her bottom lip.

“Come here.” I motion for her. She shuffles across the room to come stand between my thighs. I brush my hand across her stomach. “He did what was right. If anything, you helped him clean out some people that needed to be fired.”

A handful of people ended up losing their jobs when it was all said and done. Seems not only William Tate but Savannah's grandfather had been paying off a lot of people within the city to get away with shit.

They’d only gotten a better look at all the corruption because of Savannah. She’d let them have free rein over her grandfather's offices and books. It had been a mess, but it didn’t really matter much. Savannah wasn’t keeping the church or any of it. She wanted to wash her hands of the whole thing, and she did just that a few days ago.
