Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
My dick’s swollen to the point of pain. My balls have pulled up ready to release, and I can’t catch my damn breath with what she’s done to me. But I need to know, “How often?” I hiss. “Tell me.”
“Every night after I’d seen you,” she admits before burying her face in my neck.
I clutch her tightly to me while I breathe through the need to come. Her words have me on the brink, and I’ll be lucky if my balls don’t turn blue and not because of the weather.
“You really are wound up, huh?” She chuckles.
“Please tell me you made all that up. I need to hear that to calm down because imagining you doing that has me in pain.”
Robin shakes her head and bites down on my ear. “It’s true.”
Her whispered words cause goose bumps to break out on my skin, and if we were anywhere else then I’d probably already be inside of her. Her wetness surrounding my cock…
“Ugh,” I groan.
With her so close there is no way I’m going to get my body under control, so I move her away and then walk back and forth to chase the ache away. It doesn’t help much, but at least it stops hurting.
“I’m sorry, Leo.” Robin stands in front of me. “I had no idea how much my words would affect you.”
I smile and cup her face between my palms. “You have affected me since the moment I laid eyes on you. That isn’t going to stop regardless of how much you pushed me away back at school. We’re meant to be together, Robin.” I kiss her briefly on the lips. “I have no interest in anyone else, and one of these days, hopefully soon, I’ll be able to tell everyone that you’re my girlfriend.” I kiss the tip of her nose. “You’ve no idea how much I want to be able to use those words when talking about you.”
Tears form on her lashes and when one starts to fall down her beautiful face, I kiss it away and leave her trembling.
“I always liked you. Right from the start. I told myself that when I went to college that I wasn’t going to date until my final year. I didn’t want any distractions in getting there. I don’t have a good track record of sticking to things, so I wanted to prove to myself and my family and friends that I could. It hurt me to push you away, and then when you disappeared, I missed you.” She shrugs, trying to look indifferent, but now I know better. “I looked for you, and even asked a few of the guys I’d seen you around with as to where you’d gone.”
I wrap my arms around her and hold her close. “No more pushing anyone away, okay? I’ll help you stay in school, if you promise not to shove me out the door.”
“I promise, but we need to take things slow. I’ve never had a relationship before. I mean, I dated in high school, but never with anyone who snuck into my heart.”
I sigh and hold her closer still at hearing her admission. “Anything, as long as we’re together.”
I’m in her heart…just like she’s been in mine.
Silence settles around us in the cold and before too long, I kiss the top of Robin’s head and wrap my fingers around one of her hands. “Let me buy you a hot chocolate and a snickerdoodle before we head inside.”
Robin smiles, goes up on her tiptoes and hovers over my lips. “I’d like that,” she whispers before giving me a soft, gentle kiss. My mouth follows hers as she pulls away.
I grin and quickly grab her for another quick kiss before I pull her back onto the path. “You know,” I start, “I’m sure I caught sight of your brother near the hot chocolate stand with Callie.”
“What?” Robin stops walking and groans, looking off in that direction. “I don’t want to spend our day with my brother. Especially if he decides to glare at you the whole time.”
Chuckling, I give her a tug and get us moving again. “I really don’t mind, Robin. He’s your brother and wants to look out for you.”
“He’s a pain in my ass.”
“I haven’t seen him since so stop worrying,” I admit.
The last thing I want is for her to be constantly looking for her brother. I should have thought before speaking. The thing is Reece doesn’t bother me. In fact, I find him amusing. At the end of the day he just wants to make sure Robin isn’t getting involved with someone who only wants one thing. I want it, but I want a hell of a lot more with her an
d for the first time since I met her, I’ve started to believe that will finally be happening.
Wrapping my arm around her shoulders, we walk toward the stall selling sweet treats and for the first time since I’ve gotten my hands on her, I feel the chill through my jeans.
As I exhale the air appears like vapor, and Robin laughs. “It’s turned colder.” She smiles up at me. “The snow will be here soon. I can’t wait.”
“You like snow?”
