She looks really shy so I do what I always seem to want to do and kiss her.

Chapter Five

Bianca

The lights of the nightclub fill the interior of the car as Tim pulls up to the curb. I hear the thrum of the music coming out of the open door and see some of his friends, who are attending the party, slipping through them. All I want to do is tell Tim I’ll catch a cab home, alone. I shouldn’t have agreed to come. I agreed when he rang me at school so he’d get off the phone, but when I arrived home and showered I should have come up with an excuse as to why I couldn’t go tonight.

Sighing loudly, I catch Tim looking in my direction.

“What’s wrong? You’ve been in a mood since you arrived home.” He turns toward me.

“I’m not sure I should have come here tonight. My moods not good and I’ll only end up pissing you off and vice-versa.”

Before he can reply, I climb out of his car and start walking toward the entrance. I can hear him scrambling out of the car and before I can make it to the door, he catches up and takes my elbow in a firm grip. He leans into me. “Stop acting like a child,” he hisses into my ear.

Tightening his hold on me, he continues, “Just remember these are people I work with so do not create a scene,” Tim warns me and I feel my blood starting to freeze.

He’s only ever once spoken to me like this before. Years ago, not long after we first met, he’d gotten so angry because I’d gone out with friends that I thought he was about to hit me. He’d left, and the following morning I’d had to bail him out of jail for disturbing the peace, which had shocked the hell out of me. He admitted to having a temper and promised me he would never take it out on me again, and he hasn’t. In fact, tonight is the first time in years that he’s been like this. Don’t get me wrong he can be an arrogant ass, but he’s refrained from letting me see this…frightening side of him.

“Good evening, Mr. Hatton,” the security guy on the door greets Tim, with a smile for me as we walk past into the club.

“How did he know your name?”

It wasn’t just that the security guy knew his name—it was how he said it, like he knew Tim. It was as though Tim was a regular. Was he? Is this where he’s been coming to for the past five months? And why am I not bothered?

“I’ve been here a few times with some friends,” he replies, pulling me through the inner doors into the club where I let the beat of the music sweep me away toward the bar.

If he wants to be an arrogant ass tonight he can find someone else to play with because I’m not interested and need to work the nerve up to tell him we’re over.

“What will it be, Bianca?” I jump at the voice as the bartender slides into view. Mason? What the hell!

“Mason. You can’t be here?” Apprehension drums through me and goes right into my head. I glance at the door, wondering if I can flee in panic. He can’t be here! He’s not twenty-one. How the hell can he serve drinks?

While I’m lost in my own panic about him being here, he’s come out from behind the bar and is standing directly behind me. His hands slide over my hips, dipping down toward my pussy before smoothing them back over my ass, and then back down my leg, lingering around the very short hem of my dress.

“Fuck, Bianca. I can’t keep my hands off you,” he whispers into my ear. “Who are you here with?”

I really don’t want to answer that question, but I’m not going to lie. “My soon to be ex-boyfriend.”

His hands tighten on my legs. “Are you going home tonight to fuck him?” he asks, anger clipping his words.

I reply, shaking my head, “No. God, I only want you.”

His hands start to move up my stomach toward my breasts and my hard nipples that want his touch so badly.

Forgetting we’re in a club and not in private, I push my ass into him and hear him hiss when I grind onto his erection.

“My brother works here. He got me the job. Cash-in-hand,” he replies to my shocked question.

Mason turns me to face him and gazes into my eyes, unblinking.

I’m not sure what is happening here, but it’s more than lust between us. I knew that before at the school that’s why I didn’t put up much of a fight when he followed me into the stockroom.

“Where is he?”

Tim.

“I don’t know. I walked away from him when we entered the club.”
