Leon had proved more than once over the years that I couldn’t trust him with anything more than my body, but if I let him, he might just fool me into thinking this meant more to him. It was all part of the act, and he had it perfected to a fine art. I couldn’t let myself get sucked in by it.

Tonight was about scratching an itch. Satisfying an urge. We could both take what we needed, and afterwards, I could move on.

Without answering, I widened my thighs, then reached down and closed my fingers around his dick. Leon’s jaw strained, his lids flickering closed as the thick muscles of his shoulders bunched up around his neck.

Watching his reaction, I murmured, “Just fuck me, Pretty Boy.”

With a quick jerk of his hips, he slammed home. And my teeth clacked together, body tensing at the sharp bite of pain.

“Jesus, Lissa!” Leon yelled, eyes shooting wide as he pulled back.

I shook my head and dug the heels of my feet into his butt cheeks to stop him from withdrawing. With moisture pricking my lids, and my breath suspended, I grated, “Just move, Leon.”

“Fuck!” he bit, hesitating.

A growl rumbled in his chest, and his body swayed involuntarily when I lifted my hips into his. He groaned, then relented and drove forward, sliding back inside… once, twice. With each gentle thrust, the pain lessened, and my limbs relaxed.

A breathy moan flowed from me when Leon’s fingers encircled my wrists, drawing my arms up above my head. He captured my mouth with his, and the initial pain faded away, nothing but delicious friction in its wake. My back bowed, rising to meet his every thrust as he pushed in and out of my body.

Every thrust heightened the sensation, building, mounting, until my eyes rolled to the back of my head and euphoric cries burst from my parted lips, my nails raking over the corded muscle in his back. And then a blast of white light broke behind my lids as waves of dizzying pleasure crashed over me and my walls pulsated around Leon’s dick. His hips jerked uncontrollably, smashing into mine in frenzied movements, before a deep, strangled groan erupted from his chest and he shuddered, then stilled.

The heated air surrounding us filled with the sound of our strained breaths, and my heartbeat drummed in my head as Leon lowered down onto his forearms.

“Jesus,” he croaked, his breath dusting my shoulder.

Turning until my cheek rested against the tabletop, I focused my gaze on the open bathroom door through the narrow hallway, while the enormity of what I’d just done hit me.

After several drawn out seconds spent pulling in heaving breaths, Leon pushed up and locked his elbows in place as he hovered over me.

“Why didn’t you say it was your first time?”

I could feel his eyes on me.

A hot wave of humiliation sped through me, maybe irrationally, but I squirmed underneath him anyway, needing to remove myself from the situation. Taking my cue, he eased out of my body, pulling a slight wince from me in the process.

Avoiding his gaze, his body—him—I reached for the other half of my leggings while my eyes searched the room for my shirt and bra.

Leon disappeared into the bathroom for a few seconds, returning quickly, my name a coarse sigh on his lips as he braced his hands on his still bare hips. “Lissa.”

“What?” I muttered, working to keep my tone even as I bent and threaded my foot through the hole of my leggings.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked again, tugging his briefs up over those firm ass cheeks.

I shrugged, resisting the urge to gnaw at my lip. “Why does it matter?”

He expelled a rough breath. “Are you kidding? It fucking matters to me, Lissa. I wouldn’t have fucking… I could have… fuck.” He broke off, his fingers pushing through his hair. “Did I hurt you?”

His gruff question snapped me from my task and pulled my head round. The wealth of concern shining in his eyes struck me like a solid blow to the gut, and I gulped over the lump in my throat, needing to curb the emotion rising in me.

“I barely even felt you,” I muttered. But my voice wavered on the lie.

I hastily jumped down from the table with my eyes cast downward and hauled my leggings up over my hips before crouching to retrieve the discarded items of clothing crumpled on the floor. Forgoing the bra and stuffing it in my waistband instead, I tossed my shirt over my head and strode for the door… and all the while I tried to ignore the way my heart volleyed around inside my chest like a ping pong ball.

Leon’s hand closed around my wrist, and my feet ground to a halt, seemingly programmed to react to his touch. The warmth from his body leached into mine as he drew up behind me, the sculpted contours

of his bare chest pressing lightly into my back.

“You can’t drive yet,” he murmured, his light breaths stirring the loose hairs at my temple.
