“I will,” Adam said.
“Start what?” I asked.
I watched as Adam pulled up a chair before he turned me toward him. His hands squeezed my knees before they traveled up my thighs. I could feel my pelvis churning for him, his twinkling eyes flickering with the light of the candle flame on the table.
“We have something for you,” he said.
“Okay,” I said. “What is it?”
He pulled out a square box from his pocket and opened it up. Inside was a beautiful white gold charm bracelet, complete with a single charm on it. It was a silver and pink charm with the words ‘baby girl’ written on it, and I giggled as he wrapped it around my wrist.
“These past six months with you have been amazing,” Adam said. “And I couldn’t imagine spending it with anyone else. The nights I get with you? Perfect. The times I get to see you smile? Wonderful. And watching you succeed with your business, baby girl? That’s priceless to me.”
I leaned over and pressed my lips to his before Jacob took his place. He pulled out a little box and opened it up, revealing a charm that made me smile. It was a black and white charm of a salt and pepper shaker, and I giggled as he attached it to my bracelet.
“You know I love your hair,” I said.
“And I love you. Emma, these past few months with you have been incredible. And I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”
I pulled him in for a kiss before Nick sat down in front of me. He opened his little box and the charm inside was perfect. It was a miniature Phoenix, the sprawling bird tattoo he had covering his chest. I loved that thing. I licked the outline of it every time it came into my vision as we tumbled around in bed. He hooked it to my bracelet, and I pulled him in for a kiss before he could even say anything.
“I know it’s only been six months, but I hope it morphs into six decades,” Nick said.
Then, it was Tanner’s turn. He sat down in front of me and took my hand in his, opting to speak before he showed me anything. His eyes were twinkling with delight as his forehead leaned into mine, and I giggled as he nuzzled my nose.
“I don’t know what I would do without you,” he said. “And I hope I never have to find out.”
He opened his charm box and showed me what he’d purchased. It was a little Corona beer charm, complete with a lime in the bottle. It was the beer he always gravitated toward. The beer he always prepared himself after a long day at the shop. I pulled his lips to mine and kissed him sweetly as he chuckled into my touch.
“You like it?” he asked.
“I love it,” I said.
“Okay, okay. Now it’s my turn,” Tyler said.
“So impatient,” I said.
“When it comes to you? Always,” Tyler said.
He opened his charm box and I cocked my head. The charm was a rose. Just a simple red rose. He pulled it out and hooked it onto my wrist, but I had no idea why in the world he would’ve thought I associated red roses with him.
And then? A grin crossed his cheeks.
“I was the one who blew up the florist,” Tyler said.
I threw my head back in laughter before I cupped his cheeks and pulled his lips toward mine.
He pushed me back into the chair, his hands planting on either side of me. My lips swelled underneath his ministrations as my hands flew to his hair. His kisses left me breathless every time he graced me with one, and this time was no different.
But this time, none of the brothers interjected to get us to stop.
“I love you,” Tyler said into my lips.
“I love you, too,” I said in a whisper.
Tyler stood back as the rest of the brothers sat at the table. My heart was filled with so much love, and my head was swirling from the surprise. I turned myself toward the table as the guys began to grab for their food, but I had something I wanted to say.
“Guys?” I asked.
