I’m rock hard, and there’s no stopping now. The only thing my mind can think about is being deep inside her. Being fused as one.

My hands rip the lace of her panties to shreds and toss them across the room.

Her eyes widen at my carnal ferociousness. It only fuels me on.

She removes her shirt, and I growl at the sight of her. We shed the rest of our clothes, and she lies back, licking her lips when she sees my cock.

I run my dick through her wetness, and she bucks up to grind against me. “Such a needy girl.” I smile down on her.

“Please,” she begs.

As fast as I can, I sheath my cock with a condom and position myself at her tight entrance.

The moment I’m completely inside her, I stall. Fuck, nothing should feel this damn good.

I start slowly, pumping my full cock inside her as she takes every inch.

She moans my name, and it’s like music to my ears.

There’s meaning behind her touches, and I want to understand everything she’s telling me every time she places her hands on my body. I keep pumping inside her, claiming every inch as mine. And tonight, I won’t let her forget it.

My gaze drops to her full breasts and I lean down to take a nipple into my mouth. I gently bite down, applying more pressure the longer I suck on her.

Our bodies climb together now, her moans growing to high-pitched screams as I ravage her body harder and faster.

She begs me not to stop. She begs me to never let her go. And more than anything, I want to keep these promises to her.

For tonight only, I treat her as if she’s the only star in my sky. And tomorrow, when the sun rises, and all the stars fade, I’ll be man enough to walk away.

Her nails rake down my back and it turns me into something wilder, something crazier with lust, and I pound harder. Our bodies are both so close, and I want to give her the ultimate pleasure. To treat her like the princess she is. To give her everything I am.

My one and only Rachel. For tonight, anyway.

Outside, the wind howls through the pine trees, screeching like laughter through the night, knowing full well I won’t be able to keep my promises to her.

But I ignore the wind, I ignore the stars and moon shining down on us, knowing I can never be the one for her. Even if we’re made for each other. I give and she takes. I push and she pulls. A symphony of bodies mingling in perfect harmony.

If one can ever believe in repeating moments, or warping time, let them warp this night to replay for the rest of my life.

I run my finger over her clit, and she moans a long, low moan. “Fender, I’m so close.”

“I know, baby. Give it to me. Give me yourself.”

Her eyes slam into mine, and our hearts beat in tune as we rock into each other.

Sweat slicks our bodies, and tangled together, we reach that precipice. She’s the first to jump, tumbling down around me.

“Never forget me,” I whisper against her cries of passion, speaking only for her heart to hear.

My body plunges full speed ahead, and I lose control, thrusting, pounding, fucking her with everything I have. Everything I am.

And tomorrow, this will be a ghost of a memory.

The next day, Rachel leaves without so much as a word in my direction. I slam a hand against my pillow, dragging my ass out of bed. I can’t believe she just left me.

Should I go back to LA and return to my life?

Is that really what Rachel wants?

I sit in the chair by the fireplace in my living room. I grab a few logs Rachel chopped and toss them into the pit. I can’t leave here without telling her how I feel.

But honestly, how do I feel?

I want to be around her, always. And that’s enough for now.

Actually, I could see it all with her. A house in LA and another in Alaska for the summers.

Am I naive to believe something with Rachel could work out? Should I even bother trying? She was adamant about wanting me to stay away.

My phone dings from the counter in my kitchen. I answer the call.

“Fender, just who I wanted to talk to,” Emmett Garfield says into the phone. He’s one of the top agents in the field, but even he can’t get me out of my contract with SharkQuake. And because of this, I’m not able to book any other gigs. “How’s Finland?”

“Alaska,” I say.

“Same thing.” He laughs. “Listen, big news. I’ve spoken with Les, your agent, and I’m willing to take you on as a client.”

“Oh, wow.” My mind spins.

“SharkQuake is pushing up the schedule, and once you’re done filming this movie, I’ve got some pretty big things lined up just for you.”
