Originally, I had a different idea for how this love story would go, but when Mariska joined the series in One to Love, I knew she was the free spirit who could steal that wounded soldier’s heart.

Up next, I’ll be diving back into the problem hanging over Derek’s head. He’s been keeping secrets again, and Melissa might not be so ready to let him off the hook this time. We’ll see if their love is strong enough to survive the bombshell and if Derek will have to go away for good. One to Save is due out Spring 2015!
