Devlin rolled them over and took over the kiss, his lips equally demanding and hungry. Baby… Sweetheart… I want to live inside your skin.

Jules’s eyes snapped open. He’d heard that. Or it would be more correct to say that he’d felt that. He’d felt Devlin’s emotions. Which meant… which meant that they were already connected, attuned to each other, even though Devlin hadn’t even bitten him yet. It was unbelievably rare.

But it still wasn’t enough. He wanted to have him deeper, feel him always.

“Bite me,” he whispered against Devlin’s lips.

Devlin inhaled sharply and, pulling back, looked him in the eye.

Jules smiled, threading his fingers through Devlin’s dark hair. “Yeah, I’m sure.” He’d never been more sure of anything.

When Devlin sank his teeth into his scent gland, Jules’s body arched, pleasure like no other making the world around him—around them—spin. He clung to Devlin as they rode the high together, their pheromones mixing as the mark took, creating a soul-deep bond. An alpha and an omega, they were one and always would be, never to be parted again.

“I love you,” he said.

“I love you, too,” he said back.

They laughed, because for a moment they weren’t sure which of them said which. But it didn’t matter, did it?

Jules pulled his alpha down, pressing their foreheads together, feeling drunk on happiness and love.

Grinning, he murmured against Devlin’s lips, “So, about those grandkids…”
